Thank you for sharing this video. I fixed my 2007 jeep grand Cherokee door not opening using the same exact steps (lubricant), but I also put lubricant on the 4th screw inside the actuator (you need to remove a round sticker). I looked all over the Internet but this is the only video that worked out for me. Keep posting more videos Dungeon.
I'll give it a shot when I get home...thought it might be a wiring issue, but I'll pick up some white lithium spray and try that next. Mine is a 2011 but should be similar. Thank you
thanks for the video, i was just gonna buy another actuator but after seeing your video I went to my 2011 Grand Cherokee and sure enough, I can feel it trying to go up and down so I think it only needs some lube to work properly..
I have the same issue whenever it's really cold. A couple of days ago it was -1° here in Chicago and I couldn't get in. Should I do this method as well? It only happens when its freezing cold
Does anyone know if the door lock pin / knob (top plastic part) pulls off or does it screw off, or is it glued on there or something. On my "new" 2010 grand Cherokee I cannot seem to remove it, and i don't want to damage it... but it sticks up where it hurts my arm (hits my funny bone, lol sucks), and i'd like it flush when locked if anyone has advice.
i actually do got the same problem and i havent found anything. i didnt care about it because no one here steals a car (living in a peaceful country). i also need to change the motor of the window, since its not working anymore. maybes someone has advice for me?

You could also spray down the lock knob shaft and let it trickle down while working the knob up and down

what year is your jeep? is that carbon handles?
