Naughty Dog would fix Lara's terrible writing and the set pieces would be incredible. Drake is exactly the kind of character needed to make her realize that she is an unfeeling sociopathic mass murderer, and if they ever met, she'd probably retire from that realization and seek help. Nathan Drake can only translate Latin & Spanish, and in the OG TR games, sometimes the player couldn't even figure out how to solve a puzzle because the game lacked so much info. Lara had to be smart and solve puzzles using clues around the room, not rely on friends she didn't need or have.

You get hints and advice from Drake's friends. But you don't get any direct clues. Even climbing can be a puzzle because it's not obvious where you need to go all that since again there are no quest markers so you have to look.
Actually Lara is in fact more intelligent than Nathan. She speaks multiple languages and can even read and decipher some antique languages as well. She has also a vast knowledge of history, maybe even a bit more than Nate but that's arguable. Nate pretty much only focused on Francis Drake and Henry Avery. Also she deciphers old languages by just learning them on the way. Also she's a talented tactician. Nathan is just guns blazing pretty much. She has a extremely vast knowledge about almost every important event in history. Whilst Nate is often relying on his books and stuff to look something up, Lara simply doesn't need that. Personally I think they're both the exact opposites of each other. Nathan is the loud guy that goes guns blazing into action, whilst Lara is the smart and tactical girl. They have different approaches, so you can't really compare them there. The only thing they have in common is what they do. But even there they have different reasons why they do it. That durability one is beyond wrong And before you guys say something like "spot the guy who hasn't played tomb raider". Nathan was shot in the stomach by a magnum hand gun. Seconds later he blew up, the train car he was in tumbled down a mountain, Nathan then climbed out of the train car (which was hanging off a cliff) and proceeded to kill multiple men in the freezing cold. He then walked for god knows how long in the snow while wearing jeans and a thin shirt until he either passed out from the cold or from blood loss. And yet he survived and continued for another 2 games.

Nate canonically dies in only one shot. All the "damage" you take in the games are the bullets *just* missing him, and when you run out of "health", your luck runs out.

But hands down Uncharted series gave birth to the gameplay mechanics that the newest Tomb Raider games have. I love Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy gameplay mechanics. As Uncharted series gave as the experience we can have in Rise & Shadow of the Tomb Raider respectively. Both are legends.

Nathan Drake can only translate Latin & Spanish, and in the OG TR games, sometimes the player couldn't even figure out how to solve a puzzle because the game lacked so much info. Lara had to be smart and solve puzzles using clues around the room, not rely on friends she didn't need or have.

You get hints and advice from Drake's friends. But you don't get any direct clues. Even climbing can be a puzzle because it's not obvious where you need to go all that since again there are no quest markers so you have to look.

Also she deciphers old languages by just learning them on the way. Also she's a talented tactician. Nathan is just guns blazing pretty much. Like I said no one is saying that Nathan is dumb, he's also very talented in his job. But Lara is definitely more intelligent. She has a extremely vast knowledge about almost every important event in history. Whilst Nate is often relying on his books and stuff to look something up, Lara simply doesn't need that.
Personally I think they're both the exact opposites of each other. Nathan is the loud guy that goes guns blazing into action, whilst Lara is the smart and tactical girl. They have different approaches, so you can't really compare them there. The only thing they have in common is what they do. But even there they have different reasons why they do it. Seconds later he blew up, the train car he was in tumbled down a mountain, Nathan then climbed out of the train car (which was hanging off a cliff) and proceeded to kill multiple men in the freezing cold. He then walked for god knows how long in the snow while wearing jeans and a thin shirt until he either passed out from the cold or from blood loss. And yet he survived and continued for another 2 games.
I loved Uncharted 2. I wish I could replay it for the first time again. It was so mind-blowing good. Uncharted 3: Drake Deception was an extreme disappointment in comparison honestly.

(A) It’s not a universal rewrite LOL, the characters throughout the entire fight constantly say “help me rewrite and reshape this *world*” or that they’re the supposed saviour of the destiny of the world, etc. It’s always described/considered a world, not an entire observable universe. Hell, when Lara is sacrificed the chick who stabs her legit states they need to sacrifice a god in order to provide energy to the sun and prevent it from destroying the world, meaning, it’s Planet-Level at absolute best or Moon-Level if you consider it more of a life-wiping feat/achievement. (B) Lara didn’t become a god, well, not permanently at least. She transitorily became one when the power of Kukulkan was transferred to her, but like, she was sacrificed, remember? They legit said a god needed to be sacrificed, and so, she sacrificed her goddess form. Evident with how she’s no longer luminescing golden aura covering her skin even though whenever someone possessed the power of Kukulkan their skin’s texture turns gold, yet Lara’s skin is utterly normal anon the scene she’s sacrificed. Implying she lost the power after the ritual as she sacrificed it. So, no, she ain’t a goddess.
Nate canonically dies in only one shot. All the "damage" you take in the games are the bullets *just* missing him, and when you run out of "health", your luck runs out.

I love Lara for that. But hands down Uncharted series gave birth to the gameplay mechanics that the newest Tomb Raider games have. I love Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy gameplay mechanics.
