After watching every Caleb Williams College snap that's available I have to ponder why there isn't more talk about the hero syndrome? I understand scrambling on a dirty pocket but he leaves wide open receivers while he's sitting in a clean pocket always looking for the big play to look like the hero. I just don't see that shit translating to NFL in a good way
I been saying that. He's terrible against good teams. Miller Moss impressed more than Caleb this year

I have a question, I heard Peggy on ESPN say how she "liked" that Caleb said to the media that "its not about the money." So if it's not about the money, why did he take the NIL deal? It's easy to say it's not about the money when you have 20 mil in the bank.

As long as the Bears could get a “haul”, keep Justin on a Bears-friendly contract, draft JJ as developmental QB, sit him behind Justin to learn for 1 to 2 years after which, retain a sufficiently developed Justin and deal JJ or retain JJ and deal or release Justin.

I’m all about trust I Poles but if that is indeed the Scenario I’d start to have some serious doubts about what he was doing with the team. To me it’s Justin or Caleb, hopefully Justin.
Keep in mind, like most Bear organization hires, Poles is a rookie.
@@MCfact1827 he’s not a rookie he’s a two year veteran going into his third year. I do trust him a lot it’s just this move, which I highly doubt will happen, would shake my confidence in Poles.

Fields never got QB development. Waldron will be the first coach he had with QB development and enhancement background.

@@MCfact1827 I think in the long-term he's going to be the top QB of this class. watched every Caleb Williams college game that's available to watch, and I'm halfway through watching every one of Drake's games that's available to watch and I like what I see. I'll check out all of Daniel's games once I'm done with drake's.

If it really happens, and Poles does trade Justin...Jayden is my pick, he is a scrappy (he needs to learn how limit his hits though) mobile type of QB, but can stay in the pocket,...can make all the throws. He is a Heisman trophy winner too, a humble likeable kid, that has a long future in the league. Bear Down!!!
I don’t understand how the narrative is Justin has a bad team but when it comes to Maye or Williams everyone ignores how bad those teams were.
They just have to grasp at any straw possible to justify fields poor play. USC and UNC were both horrible defensively with mid offensive lines and receivers.

Let me just say after being a die hard for over 40 years. If this organization trades Fields which I feel is a mistake BUT then pass on Caleb I will flip my shit! Keep Fields, trade the number one for a haul. Take MHJ and possibly even trade nine for more picks or take Bowers or Oline!
I don't want to settle for second tier QBs and Recievers when we have have the number one of either!
But this is the Bears we are talking about so nothing would surprise me!
I am confident in this, if they trade Fields and Pass on Caleb both Flus and Piles will be gone just in time for the 2026 QB class
