Actually a sun sized star does not blow up in a supernova it more sheds out its outer layers in a less I should say explosive way turns into a white dwarf and cools down into a black dwarf

Sun can't actually turn into a supernova, it can just became a red giant and than a white dwarf. As far as I understand, in some periods of this process, the satellites of Jupiter might be potentially habitable. We will still eventually need to move to another sun system, but we will have more time to do it.
I know for certain that Mars will be in the Goldilocks zone, and then a while later Titan ( Saturn's moon). So we'll have plenty of time if we can just move everything to Titan.

Actually when are sun turns into a red giant the habitable zone (what earth's in) will move to jupiter and saturn and you would have to be two or three solar system's away for a super nova to not affect you depending on the type of Nova
1. Nova (Red Dwarves)
2. Kilonova (Yellow Dwarves, like us)
3. Supernova (Red Giants), might form primordial/stellar B-holes.
4. Hypernova (White Giants) Stellar B-hole
5. Quasi-collapsar Supermassive

Ok, I've seen the scene before (rewind to it) and as a space nerd that looks into this kind of thing. I have an explanation
The Sun, will not go Supernova. It can't, it doesn't have enough mass to supernova upon death. Instead, what will happen is the Sun will expand, become less dense, and turn a red color seen in dwarf stars. Then kinda just falls apart. This event will completely destroy the inner worlds. However, it's predicted that Jupiter won't get eaten by the sun, though it might still get hella cooked by it, or it could not be effected at all. However, now since there is no sun, everything in the Sol System will now just freeze and all life killed unless they can't either adapt to their hellscape environment.
Oh, and btw, light dosent exist either
