While I also understand that, I also know that I would have been totally consenting, and I was just in my 20's when I was at my worst. I'd do it just for the free alcohol, since I was around 100 lbs and would drink up to 2 L of vodka daily, which adds up in cost. 😂 Even the death doesn't seem unusual to me. I was expected to die when I was 28 from multiorgan failure due to my alcoholism. I have no idea how I survived long enough to get a liver transplant a few years later when they originally said I had a weekend to live. The exploitation of someone in that state is just human nature, and treatment at that point and at that age is probably not going to be successful.
This is heartbreaking and frustrating. It's scary that internet behemouths like UA-cam and Tiktok can't do more when something as sinister as this is happening on their platforms.

People of this age group still hold a fascination for TV programming, so his UA-cam channel name and even design of the logo looks reminiscent of the 90s - early 2000s TV-shows, and him presenting his activity as some kind of show makes sense in this perspective. Like some kind of very early UA-cam, when people still tried to mimic a TV-show presentation, or had channel names inspired by TV programs or TV channel names. I find interesting, that his nickname is Zheka (Жека) which is a thug form of name Eugene (Евгений), but we know his actual name is Yuriy (as it seems) which has no connection to Zheka at all. So most luckily Zheka a moniker, or it used to be, not saying he had any criminal connection in his younger days, but that could explain him being comfortable interacting with homeless people in such manner.
I want to start by saying your eye makeup in this video is absolutely gorgeous! I was made homeless several years ago after leaving an abusive marriage and ended up in a homeless shelter with people who were addicted to alcohol/drugs and it was honestly heartbreaking to get to know these people who were mostly kind hearted but got into bad situations and turned to substances for comfort because they had nobody to help them. I was there for about 3 months and several times people would show up in the evening bloody and bruised because people had beat them up, or they had been mugged of the small amount of money that they had. I absolutely hate that vulnerable people are exploited like this and so little care is given to them by people who are literally one unfortunate event away from being in their situation too.
this reminds me of another very creepy account on tiktok. it was these two Russian guys on a farm that always looked drunk or high off of something and they were always painted purple or blue, i think their tiktok and youtube channel was banned because i can never find their account. the content was so disturbing and i’m surprised it wasn’t covered by anyone

That is not the guy who runs it. He is young and “good” looking. Have you seen the clips with them having plastic bags on their head and duct tape around the neck. They wear shock collars. And in numerous videos have black eyes. The girl is groped on camera, they often pee in a bucket in the corner. In the tik tok videos you can see the lap top in the corner that he is using to stream, you can see how long they are streaming for and it is sometimes up to 22 hours. This is absolute abuse, and they do not always look miserable because they are under the control of this guy.

I'm a recovering addict and when I was living on the street I did tons of things that traumatize me so deeply to this day just so I could stop withdrawaling from fetenyal or get out of the cold for a little. Some of those things haunt my nightmares still.. some people still don't understand how I could be traumatized by something I agreed to, but obviously they have never slept on the street or been physically addicted to drugs.. Full disclosure I am a s3x worker and think consent is a spectrum.
I hope you get checked for STIs and STDs and hepatitis, I know that IV drug users who used whatever they could get with any needles someone would share with them are at a heightened risk of hepatitis. The part about how the: "Right people" are finding his livestreams or getting access could be much simpler then we think. Like what if its the same people who have been actively involved from the gecko? Why would he reach out or advertise to new people he doesn't know, or doesn't trust for his sketchy activities when it could put him at risk of exposure. He probably already knows who is still interested as well as their YT usernames and could easily find a way to gmail those watchers or DM them. Of course this is not proven, and it just speculation based on your speculations. But to me thats the most logical theory I can come up with. If he is still livestreaming these awful things he probably has his long time biggest fans already in contact or within his digital arms length already. I would think that would be the safest move for him. Even that could be risky if someone ends up having a change of heart or stop enjoying that sort of way. But even still thats easier to handle and control (and eaiser to cover his butt for) then stangers or new people he doesn't know. Maybe his long time biggest fans who have real life friends also interested in the same live stream paid content is sometimes allowed in if they have a reference from one of the long time fans who are loyal? Not sure! NOT making excuses or saying what he is doing is okay, cause Its definitely not. Reminds me of the Russian guy who lived streamed locked his girlfriend outside in her underwear during a severe blizzard for a long time. Over 40 minutes if I remember. Long enough for her to die of exposure. You could hear her screaming and banging on the balcony door. When he finally bought her inside she was dead. He kept the live stream up and called EMTs. He kept it up while they where there. He didn't get charges if I remember right.

Yuri is actually lying dead on the floor behind Leshenka with the blue sweater in the video with Christmas decorations on the wall. Yuri appears in older TikTok videos one in which he is wearing a cream polo shirt dancing by himself. There is videos of them humiliating and punching each other on a UA-cam account called Hasanbaeva.

This really isn't any different than Bum Fights. A guy in the USA made a ton of money in I think the early 2000's by making these videos. He'd go to homeless encampments and offer them small amounts of money to fight eachother and do other humiliating things. He was even in Dr. Phil, so it's not like we don't know who's behind it. But afaik he's never faced any kind of repercussions. So it's not like this isn't being taken seriously just because it's Russia. This shit isn't taken seriously anywhere.
i work as a crisis counselor at transition housing for people who are acutely mentally ill. many of them struggle with homelessness and substance abuse or dependence to the point of it really affecting their cognitive functioning (making it easy for them to be taken advantage of/exploited) . it defiantly seems like the people featured in these videos are part of the same population which is really sad
there is a (super cool b-movie like) movie called Hobo with a shotgun - with the late Rutger Hauer - where the hobo guy arrives into this new terrible town full of scum and ruled by criminals...well there is this guy who pays the homeless ppl just to be abused on camera (a vhs camera, the movie is oldish), and he makes them fight each other or eat pieces of glass. when i googled "garbage posting" and i read the first article, i was baffled in reading about one of these ""streamers"" doing literally the exact same things of the scumbag in the movie aformentioned

I'm a recovering addict and when I was living on the street I did tons of things that traumatize me so deeply to this day just so I could stop withdrawaling from fetenyal or get out of the cold for a little. Some of those things haunt my nightmares still.. some people still don't understand how I could be traumatized by something I agreed to, but obviously they have never slept on the street or been physically addicted to drugs.. Full disclosure I am a s3x worker and think consent is a spectrum.
I hope you get checked for STIs and STDs and hepatitis, I know that IV drug users who used whatever they could get with any needles someone would share with them are at a heightened risk of hepatitis. I hope you practice safe sex and take proper precautions to avoid pregnancy and ailments. Please take care of yourself and keep your eyes peeled for creeps and dangerous weirdos. (just a small but important note. You can't be "forced into sex work". The term sex work refers to consensual sex work. If someone is being forced, it's sex trafficking. It seems pedantic but it makes a big difference when laws and policy are being written and when sex workers are fighting for their rights. Just something to keep in mind in the future.)

Also keep in mind you're talking to an actual sex worker here who loves my work and studies the impact it has across the board, just before you start taking out of your ass. Every job is exploitative under capitalism but people only yell about sex work. What about coal miners and factory workers who literally sell their bodies because they are literally deteriorating over time from the work they do. When people hear the word trafficking they only think about sex trafficking even though agricultural trafficking is the most common. So don't act like sex work is anything different. It's a job, a job that myself and many others are passionate about and I would be in this industry even if I was a millionaire and didn't need money because I enjoy it.

The part about how the: "Right people" are finding his livestreams or getting access could be much simpler then we think. Like what if its the same people who have been actively involved from the gecko? Why would he reach out or advertise to new people he doesn't know, or doesn't trust for his sketchy activities when it could put him at risk of exposure. He probably already knows who is still interested as well as their YT usernames and could easily find a way to gmail those watchers or DM them. Of course this is not proven, and it just speculation based on your speculations.
But to me thats the most logical theory I can come up with. If he is still livestreaming these awful things he probably has his long time biggest fans already in contact or within his digital arms length already. I would think that would be the safest move for him. Even that could be risky if someone ends up having a change of heart or stop enjoying that sort of way. But even still thats easier to handle and control (and eaiser to cover his butt for) then stangers or new people he doesn't know. Maybe his long time biggest fans who have real life friends also interested in the same live stream paid content is sometimes allowed in if they have a reference from one of the long time fans who are loyal? Not sure!

Reminds me of the Russian guy who lived streamed locked his girlfriend outside in her underwear during a severe blizzard for a long time. Over 40 minutes if I remember. Long enough for her to die of exposure. You could hear her screaming and banging on the balcony door. When he finally bought her inside she was dead. He kept the live stream up and called EMTs. He kept it up while they where there. He didn't get charges if I remember right.
That's what Hannah was talking about when she was describing what garbage posting is, it's the example she gave for it

Those men are not Yuri, the bald man in the blue shirt is called Sanya, the man in the blue sweater with died hair (which has recently been shaved down the middle in a TikTok video) is called Leshenka and is the boyfriend of the girl who’s called Lerka. Yuri is actually lying dead on the floor behind Leshenka with the blue sweater in the video with Christmas decorations on the wall. Yuri appears in older TikTok videos one in which he is wearing a cream polo shirt dancing by himself. There is videos of them humiliating and punching each other on a UA-cam account called Hasanbaeva.

This really isn't any different than Bum Fights. A guy in the USA made a ton of money in I think the early 2000's by making these videos. He'd go to homeless encampments and offer them small amounts of money to fight eachother and do other humiliating things. He was even in Dr. Phil, so it's not like we don't know who's behind it. But afaik he's never faced any kind of repercussions. So it's not like this isn't being taken seriously just because it's Russia. This shit isn't taken seriously anywhere.

i work as a crisis counselor at transition housing for people who are acutely mentally ill. many of them struggle with homelessness and substance abuse or dependence to the point of it really affecting their cognitive functioning (making it easy for them to be taken advantage of/exploited) . it defiantly seems like the people featured in these videos are part of the same population which is really sad

there is a (super cool b-movie like) movie called Hobo with a shotgun - with the late Rutger Hauer - where the hobo guy arrives into this new terrible town full of scum and ruled by criminals...well there is this guy who pays the homeless ppl just to be abused on camera (a vhs camera, the movie is oldish), and he makes them fight each other or eat pieces of glass. when i googled "garbage posting" and i read the first article, i was baffled in reading about one of these ""streamers"" doing literally the exact same things of the scumbag in the movie aformentioned
