I have one similar. These clocks are truly amazing and the sound. You can't capture by recording but its such a beautiful sound. They keep perfect time and stays wound longer than my others. Im into Howard Miller also but the Fredrick Mouthe is my favorite.

I have a similar Mauthe clock in a lighter golden wood and only two winding holes. Sounds exactly the same but doesn't chime on the quarter hours.

i have a mauthe clock with the three winding slots also, which slot does what? if the time is not correct on this clock, do i have to wind it around like that and stop at each chime to get to the right time? it is 4 hrs behind right now.
