you can use the JVC Everio software to upload to UA-cam account but you cannot do editing, I locate the video file in .MTS format on the SD card, copy to my computer, then use a software call Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate to convert to the .MTS to .WMV format and use Window Movie Maker to make the movie to upload it to UA-cam. I used this process to prepare all the cooking video on my channel
