Quick Idea for the Foxes in the pyramid:
Make the fox hold something valuable, like a key to the next layer, so you have to trade some valuable food to get it. I think this could symbolize you fully beating your physical needs and beginning to help those around you with theirs.

Skizz! Idea: Make more than one route that go to the finish or resting point. Maybe, an easier route and an almost impossible route and then an actual impossible route. That way as the hermits discuss their experiences with each other, they realize that their experiences were different.
To piggyback, and make it more complex, have Redstone and pistons that change the route for each run

Esteem should have a room that has signs with words of encouragement/words of positivity. Maybe have the Hermitcraft crew be forced to leave a sign before they can leave the room. Start with a couple signs of your own, but each time someone runs the pyramid, they have to leave a sign so it's 'different' each time.

1:54:16 skizz! I know you wont see this, but If you only put a block over the pyramid to stop it, you dont have to put iron in it to turn it back on, you just have to remove the block and it starts going again
Skizz, have you played or watched a pkaythrough of Getting Over It? Bennett Foddy hasa rolling dialogue through the game of quotes that drive the player crazy. I think your Maslow experience needs this. Have a music disc recording of yourself randomly interjecting pearls of wisdom that triggers when the player enters at bottom level. It should turn off if the player dies and respawns in a provided bed. Then whatever door mechanism lets them out of the respawn room can trigger a troll for the failure.
For the berry ask impulse or tango to install dispenser with bone meal with a sensor that detects when it got picket and when it grows back, so you don't run out of bone meal ❤❤
Would it really need to grow back that quickly?
