The sound using the MiTo SA Pulse caps are more pronounced which makes it easier for me to distinguish each switch's sound characteristic. Don't have time now to listen to the entire video though, will DEFINITELY do that later. For now I just wanted to say that my END-GAME keycap is the CAT Cyberspace, best keycap I've tried so far. The long delivery time was worth it after all (more than 1 year). I've gotten loads of tactile switches and the best I've tried and are still using today is the Akko CS Purple. I was also pleasantly surprised with the 'boring' Gateron Brown (original version). Didn't expect to enjoy the Gateron as much as I did. The feel of the Akko CS Purple is slightly better but when it comes to sound the Gateron was a lot quieter if that's important to you. The switches that I hate are Zealios V2 and Gazzew Boba U4T. These have a good reputation from reviewers on UA-cam but I found them so dreadful to type on that I could only stomach the Zealios for about 1 week and the Boba switches lasted 1 day. I didn't expect that given the good reviews on these. As a baseline my preference is: Tactile, shortest actuation point as possible, actuation force around 50g and higher than 30g. The Kailh Box Brown sounded good though, it's been awhile since I tried something new, think I'll go for that one next. Lastly, the utmost respect for the time and effort that went into making this video. I know how time consuming it is to install new switches!!

Insane quality content for the amount of views this has and the amount of subs you have. Great job! I do have some slight constructive criticism though, the stabilizers sound really rattly on this board and I think that kind of takes away from the soundtest because in between normal 1u keys there is a spacebar / backspace that sounds really bad because of the stabilizers and that is kind of distracting in my opinion. It's not a huge problem though, and I must say huge props for making such a video!
Wow thanks! :) Yeah, many talked about the space bar stabs... Tried to fixed it but it is not much better (they are lubed, bandaid and cliped)... I Will changed the entire stabs system before my next switches sound test!

Interesting and useful. Though, also interesting that sound won't be able to explain the tactile feel, sadly. My recent discovery was that tactile switches are not just clicky with less click, but can have a very smooth and wide pressure curve that makes them akin linear, in which case their tactility is kind of wasted. I guess if the feel is important, the only way is to comb through all the available switch graphs to find ones with desired feel before comparing by sound.

they all sound the same
Not sure I agree... Difference is sometimes subtle, but with good headphones, differences are audible...
@@ClickandThock i have hyperx cloud alpha and dont hear much difference
That is, basically no difference. It would be worth grouping by truly different switches.
These switches are very close in term of sound, difference is sometimes subtle, but thats the point of testing them back to back, because with great headphones, sometimes these subtle differences matter.
watching you type gives me anxiety
Sorry about that! :P
They all sound the same
