FENDER HOTROD DELUXE MOD - Get More Headroom!

I love my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Not only for its shimmering clean tones but also because of its warm crunch when it breaks. On the other hand, I always wondered how to have a more responsive volume knob on lower volumes. I found a solution online and decided to share it with you.
In this MOD, we're going to substitute the 12AX7 tube from the gain stage with a 12AT7 (or ECC81) valve. This causes an impressive change in the amp responsiveness, opening another avenue of sound capabilities in lower volumes. Let me know your thoughts on the comments below.
