I use fixed income ETFs and CEFs. But I steer clear of passively managed indexes, and only use actively managed funds. The fixed income indexes are just too vulnerable to fashion and group think, IMHO.
The economy is slowING, and has been for months. The economic data is clear. The Fed raised rates by 525bps. The credit market is shrinking. A 25bps cut is nothing. China's demand decline will export deflation around the world -- steel, oil etc..on top of cheap goods. Someone tell me what I am missing?

I do understand that some industries are favored more such as entertainment instead of finance. I agree with everything Klein said. UA-cam isn't going anywhere and for Alphabet to split up into subsidiaries is going to be extremely hard.
