Height is determined by genetics no matter how hard you try to change it
You can definitely decrease your height (aka making you stop grow, for example by hurting your growth plates, scoliosis and probs some form of puberty blockers) but naturally increasing it by more than a fee centimeters isn’t possible to my knowledge

@@Jiaozhi_ Yes it does help you grow but genetics have the ultimate decision over your body. You could be short with tall parents if one of your grandparents has shorter genetics. Calcuim does help bone strength and stretching wouldn't grow the muscles and bones just make you stand taller not grow many inches.

The video didn’t say any of the named idols are the tallest of their generation. Yes Aisha is the tallest female 4th gen idol, but correct me if I’m wrong she hasn’t given any tips on how to grow your height. So there’s no way to include her in a video about idols growth tips.
Then give her the recognition. Don't expect everyone to fawn over her, most people aren't familiar with Everglow. But ofc you'd rather complain than actually inform people.

You are still whatever height you are meant to be because of genetics but good posture and stretches may make u appear taller
Height is 80% genetics but 20% is environmental. However it is not the things mentioned in the video, rather consuming enough calories, having any form of exercise regularly, as well as staying away from drugs and harmful substances (as well as mothers good health but that is too late now!)

Been drinking lots of milk, hanging on a bar every morning and doing yoga since I was 13 and continued till I was 18, and yet I ended up at 155cm at the age of 30😂

Genetics play a big part but lifestyle plays a part too. Know a friend, he has short parents but he grew much taller than them because he’s a competitive swimmer. So it really depends but genes are the big factor

Oh my God, I was born in 2009 too and I'm 1.70m tall, but I think that as Korean girls aren't generally very tall, tey consider that a big height, whereas in my class all the girls are about my height, even though we're only 15.

Personally, my sister is 174cm and I'm only 162cm, there's a 11months difference between us. The only real difference is she slept a lot during her teenage years (including napping in the afternoons), where's I could hardly sleep even at nights, I 'm a real light sleeper, she hardly wakes up even from loud noises😂
Sleeping actually helps with growth as a child and teen and not sleeping can stump growth.

Unfortunately, sleeping didn't work out for me. Genetics determine too much. I slept for 12 hours a day as a teenager. I ate so much. Drank lots of milk because I grew up in the Got Milk era and still ended up being 164 cm 😅 oh and I jumped rope all the time because people said it helps 😂

my growth plates literally GOT stopped cuz I'm too tall for my way, I got surgery but I'm still growing and I hate it. I have so many health complications because of it, and always get weird looks as I'm just in 7th grade. It's really not that great.
In short, stop glorifying it.
I stopped growing in 11th grade, but I grew so much so quickly over the span of a summer in middle school I have chronic joint and tendon issues. Being "tall" is definitely not as great as it sounds, especially when you're only 11 or 12. But I can at least say the weird looks stop as you get older, so you can look forward to that.

According to a newspaper of my country we have a gen that make us 3-4 cm shorter than what we are supposed to be 🤣🤣 now i understand many things

I am 14 years old and I am 171cm. People always mistake me fo a 19-20 years old😅. I don't do pilates or eat special candy, but I do brink goat milk, it helps with bone strength and growth, also because it's rich in calcium it helps with nail and hair strength.
Edit: My parents aren't that tall. My mom is 172cm, and my dad is 174cm.
The real key are the hormonal medicines(especially in case of minor idols) that they consume in large amounts! Thats why alot of u guys who are saying we drink milk and hang but still dont grow is bec we use natural methods which are slower.

You guys, remember that genetics play a HUGE role in your height, you can have tall parents and still end up short but you can also have short parents and still end up tall because maybe your grandparents are tall. Your perfect tall or short 😊💞
its abt 80% genes. im 17 and 181cm, my mum is 165cm and my dad 184cm i guess i got my height from my dad.
but stretching, drinking milk can help and you have to eat enough. i stopped growing like 2 years ago when i got deep into my ed, im recovered now but food is really important to grow taller.

Genetic and lifestyle both play a part. My parents are about 5’3” and 5’4”. My older sister and I are the same, yet our 3 younger siblings are tall. Younger sister 5’8” and 2 brothers over 6 feet tall. My mom has tall brothers and our grandfather was tall from her side so genes contributed then my younger siblings were also the only ones constantly drinking milk, soy milk, and eating cheese as if they were meals as children so I think that also contributed to their growth.
I remember back when being very tall as a female idol was lowkey not well received. When Sulli from f(x) would constantly get body shamed for being tall. I remember when she went on a reality show and they insisted she was over 170cm but she was only 168cm. Idk, the way the beauty standards change on a dime is wild. Goes to show that no one should be following a standard they cannot attain naturally. I used to be really self conscious of my height at 158cm. Now, I’m rather grateful bc I can sit in an economy airplane seat comfortably. I can sit in any size car comfortably. I’m always smaller than my bed so I don’t need to spend extra for a bigger bed. And so on. My only nemesis is a tall public toilet seat.

If you are a child there is medical intervention which can prevent you from growing, or slow your growth... My parents were offered it when I was a child and I know some very tall people who had drugs or surgery to hell prevent them from getting very tall.
