I believe that Gormlaith looks a little bit like a more evil Victoria from Corpse Bride and Isolt looks like Sally, from The Nightmare Before Christmas, in the way she moves. If this was a movie, I would love it! I'm so excited for the upcoming movie in November!!!!!!!
I hope the author writes more about the bond between the 2 schools. After all, unlike the other academies, Hogwarts and Ilvermorny were founded by people of Irish and British descent. Perhaps, both schools could have large secret port keys that lead to each other's school, and could be accessed in times of great need. The keys could have been put in after the war.

Max Kehm from what I see, it matters on what questions you get. You don't get all the questions, so it's quite variable. Especially since people can be hat stalls. Hermione almost got into Ravenclaw but was sorted in Gryffindor. Same thing happened with McGonnagal, and the other way around for Flitwick
