Thanks this is the first good review I see for this game. It's on my rader for quite some time but I couldn't figure out whether it was something for me. Turns out it's exactly my cup of tea. Bring on the next sales please.
Great review as always Ben. I played this on PSVR and it didn't support ANY motion controls so it was really bad. For $6 I think it's worth checking out again. Cheers!
Have you noticed the fov is super important to vr but no one really seems to care? Pimax has a huge fov of 200 and star vr has a wopping 210 fov lol. Yet nobody seems to care that psvr 2 is "leaked" to only have 120? When 5 fov more can cause a huge difference in experience and immersion why is it nobody cares? Even occulous (I don't know how to spell it honestly) is working on lenses that move in order to work on fov. Honestly fov is enough for me to decide on if a headset is worth it or not so I was wondering if you could make a video in discussion of this... Might help me understand why it feels like no one cares.
Yeah FOV is a pretty big deal. Often when I put on the Quest I wish it was like the Index. I discuss FOV a little bit in my Index review but I'll see if I can cover FOV, and other aspects of headsets, more in the future 😀
@@BenPlaysVR cool lol. I just noticed that the bigger the fov is the more immersed I have become as someone who can make the joke "I can almost see my ears!" looking through goggles feels weird and really takes me out of it. I thought this wouldn't matter and would improve with vr fov increasing but it just seems like companies dont care about fov meaning when I'm sitting here hyping over psvr2 only to hear it has such a small fov dispite there being headsets that prove fovs can be so wide I'm baffled and a bit panicky.
Me too (I used the PSVR version). It is one of the first VR games and it seems to be a known problem for this game. Probably something with the projection. But it seems, there are few people that can play it..
This game was pretty bad when it first came out on PSVR, and only allowed for use with a dualshock controller. i might have to try it out again now i have pcvr

actually, I got this game long time ago on the PS4 VR, and it looked awful. graphics were like yours, but everything was dark and it was lagging.
Yeah it is really bad on PSVR. I don't know if they ever patched it, but you used to have to use the DS4 controller and head gazing
This game is the only one that makes me sick
