  • Hey guys! I decided to make another video about recovery as I have seen some comments regarding how to recover. This video highlights some key aspects to focus on when engaging in the recovery process after psychosis. I hope you find it helpful in some way!

    Here someone else with psychosis.
It all started in 2019 and have had one relapse in the middle. Both due to cannabis. I thought I was better again and committed the mistake, so guys, learn from us, don't do it again!

My son is in psychosis 6 mos. He does not believe his delusions are false and they terrify him. He has no recognition that he is in psychosis. I am praying he comes out of it.

They can’t recognize that they’re in psychosis. What caused his psychosis? Is he currently on an antipsychotic?

Hello Athena, my daughter is currently in hospital recovering from psychosis. I hope your son gets well and I’m also praying for my daughter. I’ve only just found Hayden’s channel so I’m hoping it helps me to help my daughter.

Hey, I have Schizophrenia, so I know a little bit about recovery I'd say, and I'm doing pretty well right now! recovery isn't linear, but you've got this! It's worth it!

I have a friend (although we're not close anymore) who's been struggling with paranoid psychosis for about a year. To an extent I've helped her and been there for her, but it's been very exhausting. Something that bothers me alot is that she only ever contacts me when she needs me to do something for her, never to talk reciprocally, like friends normally do. I'm having a hard time understanding whether this has to do with her mental illness or if she's just selfish. (Probably a bit of both?)
Do you, as someone with more experience, have any comments or thoughts about it? Is it normal for someone with a psychosis to be self-obsorbed?

Thank you for sharing. The situation sounds complicated. While psychosis can make things more complicated on a number of levels, there are more factors involved with people outside of psychosis itself.

Sees u as her safe person rings wen its overwhelming for her. But she knows it bothering you so she only call you when it's to much, she sees herself as a problem 2 you cause she doesn't feel fun can't enjoy things with you. GOD bless you for being so kind, talk 2 her outside the house in a peaceful place try to find your peace in that friendship

I feel like we have a similar story; I also read The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle when I was diagnosed. It was great to connect with your channel to find some else with a similar experience. Thank you for making your content

Thank you for your videos. Seems like this video is getting lots of views. Lots of people want to know the process of recovery from those who have experienced this. I know it works different for everyone but, most can relate. Can you describe in a video if you were ever in denial even though you were on medication?

I am glad you have found value in the content I make. What do you mean about denial? As in denial of being in psychosis or denial of the experience after the fact? Or maybe both?

      @@justbeinghayden9451Hi, Hayden,
Could you share on how you managed to ground yourself into physical reality? I feel it's very hard for me to stay present, I am always dissociating, even without being triggered. I always had a tendency to dissociate, but now it's more intense. How do manage to stay within your body?

My family member is recovering from psychosis. Scariest time of our lives. He has THC in his urine but how do you know if it is also bipolar or MDD? He is currently on a lot of meds. Thank you for your videos. How long did it take before you started to fill like yourself and to come off of meds. So afraid of him ever going into psychosis again.
