Triangularus don't like to be moved around. Don't panic if they drop some. Good light but gradually introduce it to good light. If it gets lots of light and you miss watering, it will give up leaves. If you over water when it doesn't get alot of light the leaves brown and crisp up. Your hubby is a keeper 😊
you know…I don’t think I saw any employees around that area and I feel like the plant section usually has employees checking on things…maybe they were all avoiding the area, I probably would be haha! 😅💜 Thanks for watching I hope you have a great week!🌿💞✨☺️
Love these type of videos 🙌 im moving from the uk to the us for 3 months to be with my bf for christmas and I have NO idea where to get reliable plants over there. So helpful!
how wonderful and so exciting!!! I recommend the big box stores like lowes and home depot to start 💜 I hope your move goes well and welcome to the states!!🤗💞✨ thanks for watching I hope you have a great week🌿
One thing that helped me with Alocasias were dishes with water in them, put in some rocks, and place the pots ontop! Kept them happy until they got bigger and I got a humidifier.
Im new to plants. The ones I have are a spider, she has babies 😊, and a golden pothos. None of my friends or family like plants, so I love that you take us plant shopping with you! Always an adventure. Thank you!
Your hair looks great!! I hope the color stays for you! The first place was really expensive, but you did well. I would've taken the variegated String of Hearts, lol! Thanks for sharing! 💜💚🍃🌵
It’s a bummer that local plant nurseries are so expensive. I want to support local business, but the nurseries in my area cost 2 to 3 times what chain stores cost. And I haven’t found them to be any more healthy. I found a Philodendron Xanadu that size for $13 at Trader Joe’s and the one you showed was $60.
yayyy new video :D its a good day, thanks for sharing Edit; I love how your hair turned out (and also the nails xD) Good haul for the day, I don't ever see strawberry begonia in my area so that was cool to see!
I am that person who goes around plant stores and picks up any leaves that have fallen off the plants that are for sale and I take them home and try to grow them...basically I pick up the sweepings up! I have some success and of course some fails...don't judge me!!
The raindrop peperomia you were looking at has thrip damage I believe. I got one and it had what looked like the same brown metallic spots on the back of most of the leaves. A few days later I saw a few thrips and exchanged the plant for someone else. I said NOPE lol
thanks so much for pointing this out!!💜 I stared at my plant for a really long time and didn’t see any thrips but now i’m on alert 🫡✨ thanks for watching I hope you’re having a good weeekend! 💜🌿😊💞✨
@@reallybigplant of course and I was at a nursery today and saw the same damage. It’s like a bronze metallic color almost and I can’t figure it out 😂 maybe it’s a natural thing but that one plant had thrips. It’s one of my favorite plants though I love the big glossy leaves so much! ❤️
Armstrong Garden Center is notorious for being expensive (at least in Southern CA). I don’t blame you for being put off by some of the prices 😂 I haven’t finished the video yet but I’m very curious if you’re going to go look at pots bc I find them ridiculously expensive lol
Omg how do you keep heart leaf ferns alive?! Lol I have a glass bowl thing with 2 in it and a few other types of ferns. The blue star, fish tail and birds nest are all doing fine but the heart leaf ferns are crispy! I don’t let the soil dry out and it’s not in direct sunlight but gets bright light. They’re so pretty, how do you take care of yours? Lol
Hard hard is it to keep a heart fern and raindrop peperomia? J can only do like 50% humidity in my house for winter and would need a uv light for anything needing med light or up
That Ficus tree is beautiful i love having tall tree plants in the home really makes a statement. But it is expensive if was €100 i take it. Begonia they do like there soil moist and like’s humidity so I usually stay away from buying those. Also attracts fungus gnats plants in those living conditions. The one you picked is cute and nice leaf shapes. I don’t go for colourful plants either that one is nice and subtle. I love Sansevieria’s i totally would have picked that one up gorgeous variegations. I have given up on Alocasia and Peperomia just cannot keep them happy. Ficus are such easy care i love the Tineke and Burgundy one. They need there sun to keep there variegations and leaf size. That ivy is so beautiful and variegations too kinda succulent looking totally would have picked that up too. I am the same kinda take a long time deciding which plant to get when there is a bunch of them to see which one is the nicest. You have great plant finds where you live. I think since i started watching your channel your hair has always been purple. Love your Cartier jewellery i am a silver jewellery girl. I love the bracelets always wanted a matching one with my husband but too expensive. Even for one. I hate when they spray the plants and glue those fake flowers. I love succulents but do need alot of sun to thrive. Cacti too. Such a good idea have the handle so don’t get hurt we don’t have them displayed like that here. I love my ZZ Raven and the compact zenzi one too.
Heart leaf ferns are challenge to keep alive. I can only keep them in a terrarium and I have 60 to 70% humidity. Even in a terrarium they need to be kept cool, at least, that is my experience, otherwise they rot.
Yeah, I was told they have a 1 year guarantee so you can return dead plants, too, with receipt. I just personally don't feel right if it's dead because it's my fault 😅 I did have a bare root blackberry that never sprouted, so I had no problem returning that one.
We have the same mindset as far as pricing. Why buy a plant for an exorbitant amount of money when it's only a trend. That's why I'm not grabbing a Thai constellation for too much
So far my Lowe's has 75% off clearance plants. I'm really good at bringing plants back I just lost a few but then I'm like I didn't spend that much on them.
Hey Kaitlyn, yeah this Ficus is a Ficus binnendijkii 'Alii'. And you get them at Lidl for 9 to 19 € here in Germany. 😂😂. We got two new Burle Marx Variegata recently as our new family members. They are only 14.99 € here ❤. Your hair is beautiful yet again as always plus your fancy nails ❤. We will call it 'Fairy dreams in a Lavender field '. Have a most wonderful time both of you. Love Matt❤❤❤
I feel like their prices were more competitive when plants everywhere were so expensive a few years ago but yeah I was surprised at the mark up on some of the plants there. Thanks for watching Marie💜 have a great week!😊🌿✨
Is there a hobby that your husband likes that you support with him? I think its cute to see couples enjoying each others hobbies/likes
All those 34.99 plants in bandaid pot are costa farms which lowes and Home Depot carry for 19.98. Hope you find some at lowes! :)
Yes! I also found that exact shingle plant from Walmart marked down for $7.

OMG those Halloween setups were intense LOL... had me cracking up! 😹
oh yes!!! all purple!!! LOVE IT!!
Your time is appreciated 🍂🍁
The Halloween decorations are hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 But I feel bad for the people working there 🤣
you know…I don’t think I saw any employees around that area and I feel like the plant section usually has employees checking on things…maybe they were all avoiding the area, I probably would be haha! 😅💜 Thanks for watching I hope you have a great week!🌿💞✨☺️
If you can keep that heart fern alive for a year you’re my new hero!!!!!
mine too! i’ve tried it 3xs

I love to hear about your hair! You are so cute!!
Thanks for giving us a new video 📸 love it 😁
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Dora 🥰💜🌿 i hope you have a great week!💞✨
12:33 Your husband's face as you turned the camera omg he looks so happy holding that peperomia :P
The hair is fabulous and the nails look intentional; nice plant choices….
for your hair… idk what brand was used but in my experience joico high intensity colors last and don’t bleed hardly!
Im new to plants. The ones I have are a spider, she has babies 😊, and a golden pothos.
None of my friends or family like plants, so I love that you take us plant shopping with you! Always an adventure. Thank you!
Thanks for taking us plant shopping 😁🛍️ with you ☺️
that’s legit costa farm plants that sell for 20 in those same pots
I love 💖 all the pretty plants ☘️
We have tons of ROF in Texas box stores right now for about $30. Same with ficus shiverena and philo white knights.
Your hair looks great!! I hope the color stays for you! The first place was really expensive, but you did well. I would've taken the variegated String of Hearts, lol!
Thanks for sharing! 💜💚🍃🌵
The fresh hair looks great!
Yes I like your hair
I miss Armstrong gardens! They are so over price reason no ones in the parking lot!❤❤
Yes video!! Yes hair!!!❤
I had a ficus alii and all it’s leaves dropped and got brown spots. I’m on the hunt for another one because I loved it so much. 😢
ahhh ficus wouldn’t be ficus without the drama 🥲💜 I hope you find another awesome one!!🌿💞
That's a patient man. I have one of those.
The plant you got is beautiful, but in my experience it needs high humidity.
Wow so many beautiful expensive plants 🌿🍃🌱🌵
Thank goodness there’s nothing like that Armstrongs near me because my house is already giving strong jungle vibes with a side of plant hoarder.
Lol the Halloween stuff

Hahaha Halloween 😅screams 🎃 👻 yay for keep receipts 🧾 return them🙌🏽 don’t feel bad
🥰🥰 thanks for the encouragement! thanks for watching hope you have a great week!😊🌿💜✨
Check out California Greenhouse in Irvine! I think they have better prices than Armstrong. Enjoyed this video, like always!

$25 for a silver band maranta ?! 😮 I’m shook 😂
right??!!! haha thanks for confirming 💜 hope you have a great week Katie thanks for watching and being so supportive 🥰💞
35 for a kerrii 🤣
i know right! life is very different in east tennessee
I would have bought all of them fr
@@_hazplantsi mean it had like 6 growing plants in it, one kerii leaf is like 5$ one that has a growing stem is around 15, so its not that surprising
Alii’s that size in my area are 29.99(WNY) and they r so beautiful but just as temperamental as triangularis
Hard hard is it to keep a heart fern and raindrop peperomia? J can only do like 50% humidity in my house for winter and would need a uv light for anything needing med light or up
Actually Leaf Shine is pretty good at fighting back spidermites.
Love the purple hair! And your accidentally ombre purple nails 😂

She did not just pass that maranta 13:05 that maranta is one of the collecter version of Marantas few cuttings can go for 50$

Congratulations Kaylee! This looks like an incredible product!!!
I am so excited and CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on this. 👋 ( Illinois, USA )

Armstrong Nursery better not watch this video😅
Did you say "former plant store employee"?! Are you full time UA-cam now?!
Audio was rough
All those plants are very expensive x
girl we have the same taste in plants and apparently also men 😭😭 im sorry is that weird to say? HAHA you guys are a cute couple tho! respectfully💗💗

The plants at that first plant shop are quite over priced😒😒
Armstrong is overpriced. There are so many more reasonable nurseries in So Cal.
I feel like their prices were more competitive when plants everywhere were so expensive a few years ago but yeah I was surprised at the mark up on some of the plants there. Thanks for watching Marie💜 have a great week!😊🌿✨
I have bad news. I'm slowly falling in love with your husband and no longer watching just for the plants🙈😜
What Polly you finding for $10 😅 ☀️🪴
