- Another loss to Stepps greenbelt near Glasgow as this abandoned and bricked up farmhouse, dating back to 1755, awaits to be demolished for new housing schemes to be put in place...
To whom it may concern: We do not break an entry. Should we be unable to gain access through means of getting through an open space, we walk away. We take nothing but footage and leave nothing but footprints. We are storytellers portraying the tale of an abandoned place from the knowledge we know of, some locations depicting a sad story which may leave some viewers passionate or disgruntled. We mean no disrespect to the locations we visit or the people once connected to them.
We enter derelict structures at our own risk. Civil trespass, also known as "simple trespass", is not a criminal offence in Scotland. Police get involved if there's a possibility that an offence has been committed such as refusal to leave (breach of the peace), fire, physical damage or theft etc all of which we avoid as that isn't our intention. Speaking of which, we are of course not responsible for those who get into bother by visiting any of the places we've been to nor do we encourage it.
In the event that anyone posts negative, close-minded or ridiculous comments, they wont be approved and you will be blocked from future commenting, so don't be a dick and waste your time.

Not sure if you aware or not but it's been set on fire since you visited. Roof has collapsed and it's in bad shape.
You are joking!! We were there now let me think... 17th April. So it’s happened since then. Do you mean the house with the bricked up windows has lost its roof?
@@DeviantDiscoveries Yes it's all caved in with the fire 🙄 it happened Saturday night. The fire brigade had to smash in through the bricked up windows to gain entry and put it out. The bottom left side of the house is not so bad as the floor above is intact but it will collapse eventually and the right hand side has completely collapsed and all burnt out.

i love watching people explore my home town. theres another abandoned building in stepps me and my pals kicked aboot there last summer 😂😂
Grew up in Stepps and my friends family owned Hornshill Farm (the Jackson’s). The motorway was built and the rest is history, so sad to see the building and farm in such a state. Many years of work and play. The walls to the left of the house were the milking shed and milk storage was right next to the house with access from the kitchen. Thanks for filming and bringing back memories.

So sad to see the lives of people in a rundown house with belongings scattered all around. It makes me wonder how did it end up this way. Where are the people who owned it now?
A woman rented it off the landlord but the landlord sold it to developers so she was forced to move. It is now totally demolished and new houses built on the land.
Yep Jackson's farm. He used to come round the houses selling his ware. We would steal turnips from his land. Find shotgun cartridges round the farm. He caught you and kept you in a shed for a while that was my memory 😅
