7:20 This is perfection So calming yet so unsettling So happy yet so sad So peaceful yet not so much I don't know how to describe this. It's amazing Mick Gordon is a genius
Its truely beautiful but also scary and dark. Just lovely. It makes you fell like you really are in the villans territory and about to fight the final boss...
In my opinion Urdak is the most interesting world in DOOM. It is creepy and beautiful at the same time. I am looking forward to seeing more stories and lore involving Urdak and its different locations like the Holt. And another beautiful place like that is Ingmore's Sanctum. I would read a comic on DOOM lore, especially about Urdak and the Maykrs
I fear after Ancient Gods part 2 we aren't gonna get much of anything expanding on the world. It was a great rendition of a heavenly kingdom but I feel it could've been so much more. This might be a stretch but I wish there alien wildlife running and flying around as you explore the level, a fauna to the floral stuff that is already there. Maybe some windows you can peek into to see rooms of the Maykr drones at work or living their life in the dimension. Just bits of visual storytelling to really make this a living breathing world as divine as the Khan makes it out to be. It just feels really empty and baron in the final product when reading the lore on it really tells otherwise.
@@soundclock2939 I see your point, but I think the emptiness of Urdak helps enforce the fact that it's basically a dying world, a shadow of what it used to be, and why the Khan Maykr is so desperate to breathe new life into it.
@@martonmeszaros1187 I see what you mean. Makes sense at the point in time. I guess then I would like to see Urdak when it was in its prime. Whether that be through art or full on cutscene. I really wish that ID did more to visually show their universes lore not just through codex entries and still pictures but like the terminal cinematics in Halo
I should probably point something out. This uses all of the Urdak ambient pieces I could find, meaning the first two minutes are nothing but ambient noises and those same voices. That famous, haunting melody part starts at around 2:15. A darker version of it comes around at 4:30. At 5:39, the electronic orchestra (IDK how to describe this otherwise) kicks in. I hope that makes this one a bit easier to listen to!
Hey dude, you probably won't even bother answering me but I spent hours looking for a certain ambient music that played while i was playing the game somewhere around the final few missions, it's basically a heavy guitar sound followed by a battle trumpet which really feels eerie and awesome, can you please help me find it??
@@abdulhameedal-sikafi8944 Sounds like Sentinel ambient music to me Look towards the last portion of my Sentinel ambient mix and you'll probably find it
Have you considered adding in Residual from DOOM 2016? It has sorta a similar tone and voices. Good mix btw U was searching for this sort of complete mix
@@alexlxpg4985 Residual is not in the gamefiles for 2016. This is also a Urdak mix, so it's Eternal only. If I was going to put all things together that sound alike, BFG Division and TOTTFIY would also have to be put side by side, as the synth line is the same but in a different key. Thank you for listening tho!

The underrated part of everything Doom...the * ambiance*...
Great job mate!

This ambiance is scary. Feels like it is straight from some horror game.
I just love the concept of techno-heaven.
If I were on a sci-fi space adventure, Urdak is the type of world that I would go to feel peaceful.
5:40 best
Agreed, it sounds like a tragedy in music form.
This shit is crazy
This should be the soundtrack for the nether in minecraft, so🤯🤯🤯
