sometime visit Taganskaya subway station, there are 2 escalators, and Marksistskaya (that have underground way to Taganskaya) that also have very long escalator.

and you can walk down the escalater, probably cutting the time by half
You know, in Moscow 1/4 of citizens walk down the escalator, don't stand, not even in rush hour :D

Remarkable how the western msm narrative and the realities of life are so divergent! Russia is building new, efficient, clean, and beautiful subway lines, while in America we cannot maintain our old rail lines which leads to train derailments. Russia's subways look clean and are beautiful, while here the subways are dirty, not maintained, and the scene of horrific violence. I am happy the Russian people are able to preserve their nation and look to their future. Hopefully the native birthrate will increase and their prosperity will grow. мужчина стоит слева неправильно. Нельзя стоять слева. Это место для прохода.
@@CBETdobra кстати, это уже не совсем так: в часы "пик" на многих станциях рекомендуют занимать обе стороны эскалатора. Есть соответствующие таблички. И периодически в течение дня по звуковому информатору об этом напоминают (значительно сокращаются очереди перед эскалаторами).
На счет 70 км есть сомнения. Скорее всего длина 57-58 км. Можете замерить сами на любой карте - квадрат с периметром 70 км вмещает в себя БКЛ полностью, что вызывает вопросы.
Садясь в маршрутку в Воронеже, грешно не порадоваться за московское метро.

Yes, i think it was marble panels over the pillars, they were very interesting as they were curved as well.

Cosmetic finishing of stations costs about 5% of the total cost of laying one station, so it is very little. It makes sense to make the station beautiful, as I had to spend a lot on its construction

А я в детстве боялась экскалатора и все время визжала, когда мама пыталась меня туда затащить, и она просила проходящих мимо мужчин помочь справиться с вредной девчонкой. Меня поднимали чьи то сильные руки и переносили на экскалатор... Забавно вспоминать😆

I'm from Moscow and I have visited this station just after its official opening. The escalator is really long due to the depth of the station. People having fear of height please avoid visiting this station, or just take a look at the main hall, but don't go up or down the escalator!

Fantastic quiet amazing, longest escalator in Australia is 45 mtrs so wow at 130mtrs that's a long way down.
You might have started something, like people that ride on roller-coasters, all over the world, you could ride escalators.

In the Moscow Metro I usually walk on the escalators when they are not crowded. It is useful for health and saves the time.

I love the Moscow undergroundg, went there in 1993. Never seen anything like it before or since. The closest was the one in Pyongyang North Korea which is also quite impressive.

Have you ever been to Saint Petersburg underground? The deepest in Russia and one of the deepest in the world Admiralteiskaya station is located at a depth of ~ 86 m underground.

А про жилье, оно довольно дешевое, если брать на пустыре( с ожиданием постройки год, два) но конечно если брать с развитой инфраструктурой, цены космос.
@@bigsitter1179 ,не только на старость,но и вообще:при ритме жизни -работа-дом-работа-мотаться через весь город-в этом превилегия метро-неоспорима.Тем более так сократили время в пути!Да еще разгружают город от машин и пробок,а значит чище воздух!И люди меньше устают.
По поводу дешивизны жилья на окраинах- не так уж и дешево,с учетом того,что нужен ремонт,мебель,быт.техника.И маяться в ожидании жилья,а потом ездить ,пристраивать детей в сады,школы, кружки,секции,те же поликлиники.Пусть это все супер красиво,но ну его нафик.Кобыла она и есть кобыла.
Я вчера проехалась по этому кольцу. Выходила на некоторых новых станциях, и на этой тоже. Но на эскалаторе не поднималась. Спасибо за видео.

just to clarify: station is not 130m underground but 72m. 130m is the escalator.
Lots of work building that! It may be a long time to ride an escalator, but can you imagine having to climb stairs!😮
At this station there is a transition from the Big Circle to another line of the Metro and to the station of one of the Central Railway Diameters. It is possible to look at the scheme of the Moscow Metro in English in the "Yandex Metro" mobile application.

So interesting to watch. The one thing that stands out in Russia that I've seen, is the sheer size of russian architecture. They seem fascinated by it. A representation of their country maybe? And how do the people treat you? Friendly? Cautious? Hostile? I've met several russian people here in England ,and they always seem hesitant when I offer my good wishes and intentions. Almost amazed when I offer my hand in friendship! They do realise sincerity though ,and I'm proud to have met, and talked, in a non political way to these people. Hello David! I cannot speak on the behalf of all Russian people, I can speak only for myself. So I'm a person who is very cautious when it comes to other people - especially complete strangers. I don't know what to expect, so I choose to be kind of "cold" and very careful. But if I see that a person is genuine, then, gradually, I will feel more comfortable and open up a little. That's how it works for me 😀 as for the architecture, it's just nice hahah😁

I really get out there discovering the hard-to-find places.
Here is one major misunderstanding when it comes to the Big Circle Line (later reffered as BCL) length and station count, as 2 stations TEMPORARILY belong to it. You can see it as an "appendix" in the north-western sector of BCL. They will be transferred to Rublevo-Archangelskaya line (RAL) once the sector of that line related to these stations will be completed (est. 2026-2027). So the actual numbers on Moscow BCL are 29 stations and 65 km (≈40 mi, still the longest metro circle line in the world though) of tracks, the whole trip around it will take 1.5 hours to complete.
As for me as a Mockovite, this is a huge accomplishment and massive congratulations to everyone who worked on it! This won't exactly help my trips around the city, but I am sure this will help many others to find faster ways to their destinations. Bravo!

Actually, you will find the escalator and a lot of the work on the new big circle line ( longest in the world) was built by China.
Chinese company China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) which had won the contract.
Conclusion:
If England would want any major infrastructure done, then nobody can beat China for infrastructure projects !
@Jistcfc I was amazed all day yesterday by the sheer size of the project. I have a longer video of all 9 new stations that opened on the same day coming out soon.
@@capitainebonhomme1609 Oh, so that particular escalator was done by China? I will make sure to avoid it now. China makes famously bad everything. And building your own escalator (the one that goes twice as fast than normal escalators do) could also be done, but I guess the chinese somehow offered their escalators at a 5% discount. Probably had to cut some huge corners to get there.
@@capitainebonhomme1609 The Chinese only contributed to a part of that circle line - about 10-15 percent, in the southwest only (Prospect Vernadskovo, where CRCC office is, etc.), and they have nothing to do with that escalator.
Russians have got a lot of experience with long and deep escalators, from the Soviet era, from the 50s on. Many older stations have very deep escalators, (along with the deepest Park Pobedy) There was no need to contract Chinese for the escalator
