If you stay in Medora, ND where the South unit Entrance is located you owe it to yourself to see the Medora Musical. Outstanding show. Was there this past week. Do not skip the North Unit an hour away. It is so worth the extra miles to get there.
Loved your video, as we just were there! But couldn’t go to the ranch. Did see lots of prairie dogs and wild horses. Plus many shows in Medora, loved it all. Your photography is lovely, thanks for showing our memories.
Just found your channel (prepping for my first visit to TRNP) and had to subscribe! You have such a positive attitude! I really enjoyed watching and appreciate you sharing your adventures!!
So happy you found it useful! Medora, ND is such a cute town and also has a lot to do. When you’re headed to TRNP make sure you plan a little extra time to spend in town. So many Theodor Roosevelt themed things to do! I hope you have such a good time. It’s beautiful! Thanks for following along too!!
We visited TRNP many years ago with our kids. It wa as void of people then. I loved that park and we used it as a stay over on our way to Glacier NP. I love love loved the drive across Montana to GNP- so straight and flat with fabulous vista every minute. We stopped at a roadside stop where Butch Cassidy and the Sun Dance kid robbed a train, the largest train robbery in US history at the time. It was a great lunch spot near Wagner Montana- if you're going that direction.
Only good thing about this pandemic is it got alot of people out in nature. Did you not go to petrified forest n.p, I didn't see a video in your list. Thanks for sharing 😀👍
I did! It was just a few videos ago after the Grand Canyon. I did see this park first even through the videos are out of order. It was much more of a surprise here!
Hard choice! I’d say Theodore Roosevelt because of its seclusion, but Badlands would be better for first time visitors because it’s close to Wall and Rapid City!
yes a group called chasing wild horses has website trying to help they are in medora. it's just the park director. The state and and others want them there. Every phone call and email mail helps.

It’s a great place to really escape! You’ll love it!

So much fun! And so much time outdoors. Happy for you:)
It really was a full weekend of exploring outside!
This is my first park to visit on my summer trip this June. I can't wait. Excited 💯.
It’ll be a great one to visit first! It felt like a smaller version of 4 other parks.
Great video. I’m looking forward to visiting this summer.

It’s very true 😅
Which do you prefer, Theodore Roosevelt or Badlands?
