How to Setup the Armitron Pro Sport Watch

- In this video I show users how to setup their Armitron Pro Sport Watch. I also go over some of the functions and how to change options from the different modes.
*update: the sound is a few milliseconds off in the from the video so the buttons are a bit confusing. Below are what they are labeled in the manual.
Key buttons:
A button (top left)
B button (bottom left)
C button (bottom right)
D button (top right)

hey man how do you decrease the year and also change the 24 hour format to 12
When you are on the year, unfortunately you have to keep pressing the button until it gets past 99, it will then go back to 00 and you can get back to the year you need. It happens to me sometimes.
For the 24 hour to 12 hour you press and hold the Abutton ( top left) or B button ( bottom left) it should switch from the main screen.

Matt I couldn't hear if you were saying b c or d button , you say them very fast and they all sounded the same , and many times you were just saying " this button" and not saying which button , and I couldn't see which button you were actually referring to . Sorry for the bad review, but after looking at about 7 different you tubes on how to change the time I finally got it changed.

The fact you had to watch 7 different yt videos says it’s not his fault but yours. Maybe you should carry a wall clock around instead. I mean I didn’t get how to set the time either but about the part where he says hold down the reset button and it starts flashing I was on my own.

I bought this watch for my husband and I noticed that it had north south east and west on it but I can't figure out for the life of me how the compass works can you explain this as well ?
As far as I know the compass is just for show and design. In the manual there is no explanation of a compass feature. Hope this helps.

How do you change the date in the dual time zone ?
I’m not sure on the dual time zone. But you might change it the same way you would from the main menu by cycling the options tell the date is reached.

hey there my watch Lcd is totally out can it be fixed?
Might want to replace the battery first. If that does not fix the problem, there might be something internal on the micro chip that is malfunctioning.

How can you change the 24 hour setting?
I pinned a comment that had the same as you. I responded to them and how to fix the issue.
This video could have been less than a minute long. this gives me "i finished my essay but need 500 more words" kinda vibe.

You need to point out the buttons slower and clearer my friend following alphabetical order like: this is A, this is B, this is C and this one is D. ALSO if you get distracted after making one or more changes the watch will return to the main screen on it's own and you'll have to start again to complete the changes.
When I recorded the video the sound is about 1 second off of the video. Sorry for the inconvenience. I do not know how to fix that.

I bought mine from an individual, not a store, thus no directions. I CAN follow directions if I have any. You didn't mention the alarm. How to turn the alarm off/on and set the alarm?
On the alarm screen, press the start stop button tell the bell goes away. Should be about 3 clicks. Hope this helps.

I wonder how many people are here like me because we skipped the seconds and went right for hours. I guess starting with seconds is a must. Had the watch set in no time now! Thanks for helping your fellow humans! I thought my watch was defective. Funny thing is when I was a kid in the 70's-80's, I could set any watch and navigate the multiple features with ease. (Ones that had all these features) Now, I have to go to UA-cam. I'm ashamed of myself.
Mine don’t have am or pm I think 🤔 it did once but i have a problem lol that i some how push buttons & I think it’s on military time now.

Oh! Lord, thank you so much for this video. My son joined the Young Marines 2 years ago and I offered him a green camouflage Armitron watch but neither of us couldn't set this up because we lost the manual. We were almost giving up to give it away

That's just for decoration. The pattern is random and is just there for looks.

I have a Armitron 40/8439, is there anyone who can help me out cause it’s completely different and honestly I can’t even find them online so if anyone knows anything
If you go to the armitron website they have a section to look up the manual for your watch. All you have to do is type in the serial number on the bottom side of the watch. I am not sure if you have checked there yet.

Right at the start you say this is A, B , C and D buttons while your fingers wander between buttons. Confused already !

Am I hearing wrong or does this guy refer to Start/Stop and Mode buttons as B button?
It is how it was described in the manual. I think for reference start/stop may be for the stop watch.
Will it still beep every hour. If so how do you make it not beep every hour.
No, you have to go to the alarm mode and change it there by pressing the C button I believe.
I'm stuck on 24hr time (military) how can I change it to 12hr time?
If you hold the A button it will flip for you
Just can't figure out how to advance the days of the week only (ie: Sun., Mon., etc.)
When you set the date and year, the watch will automatically set the day of the week. I hope this helps.
