This is the game which drove me to get a PS 4 Pro and I haven't looked back since. I think it is the only game where a single camera shot was used making the transition between gameplay and cut scenes seamless which made the experience even more immersive. The mocap and voice acting is off the chart in this masterpiece. Subscribed.

I like that you use your fist a lot. Some ppl won't swing at the enemy until they have the axe. Just keep swinging and and get the enemies power down. This episode was a banger and I enjoy listening to you as well. Great job @LizXP 👍

Oh boy. This game still rates high in my all time list. You're making me remember how much I loved it, and I'm so here for it! You may have started out pretty GREEN, but you definitely are picking it up quick! And yes, you could have died in that fight against the Mysterious Stranger, so you did really well!
You gotta an absolute banger. I remember playing playing the earlier games. One of them was announced at the Superbowl way back then. Part 2 and 3 are my favorites. I play this on PS5 with 60fps they added. I also use the o.g. controls they also added. I visited every island I possibly find and kicked ass. Right before they hit you tap the block button and dodge left or right. The more aggressive you are the easier it will be. There is special loot everywhere. Stray off the path much as possible. oooh.... I think you're really gonna like this game. The gameplay is something you would enjoy and from previous playthroughs of yours I've watched, I also know that you appreciate a good story. This game ticks all the boxes (and beat RDR2 for Game of the Year in 2018).
I can't recommend the original trilogy before playing this game enough! The impact of this game is almost 10 times better if you've actually played the original trilogy. Don't watch videos about the original trilogy, though. It's really not the same. Also, ignore the people who suggest you somehow get some "mystery" experience by not having played the trilogy. There's no such thing, you just can't relate to the story and the characters the same way.

You will see a lot of people saying watch a recap of older games or play them first and while thats fine and the way they have done it, I played this game first out of all them and then afterwards watched a background, and honestly it was brilliant. I likened the experience to watching the original star wars trilogy before the prequels. Great place to start

I would love the golden delicious and red delicious varieties, but one of the most interesting ones was the green Newtown Pippens.. not as sweet as the Red and Golden apples, but still tasty! Kratos is a character in Greek mythology, but his video game story is much different. I highly recommend watching a quick summary of the previous games (you could make it a reaction video, up to you 🤷♂️). Video game Kratos has a rich backstory that, if you know it, makes this reboot more emotionally impactful.

I love watching your vids! As someone who grew up playing the original GoW series, I seem to be in the minority of people who disliked the direction this game took the series. The original series was arcadey, fast paced, albeit not very deep in plot. This game is very slow paced (intentionally), the combat is not arcadey and the view is slightly annoying over the shoulder, while bosses and enemies alike had to be approached in a very particular way. It's not that it doesn't work, it's just a big departure from what the original was. The story is good and is definitely enhanced if you know the backstory. Again, it's not that I don't like the game... it's just not what I expected, nor is it what I wanted it to be.

You should try the original GOW games as well! The lore is definitely worth it! …All 3 of the first GOW games were so iconic! ( Yes…Ascension as well, but that was more of a prequel anyways! So I didn’t count it!)

2018 is an interesting year. It's around that time that we began to realize that it's not just neckbeards who play video games. From time to time attractive people play them as well. That realization shook everyone to their core. All of their neck hairs stood on end.

Hello Liz, so cool do see you pick up the God of war games! I kind of drifted away from your channel after RDR2, but i will surely follow this series closely. I would highly recommend that you take an hour on wikipedia to read up on the basics in norse mythology to begin with. Even if the game is very artisticly far from the mythology it is still set in that pantheon and it is good to know the names and realms and what they represent. And also find some quick brief about Kratos backstory, it might also be good. Looking forward for the next one. Green
Fun to see someone new finding this game series. I imagine you are a bit green considering the lore. The series is packed with character development and history so finding a summary of the lore might get you to feel up to speed 😊

12 mins. in she missed the one in the yard understandable but she walks right by the one on the right and but gets the one on the left 😊. (ALGORITHM)😉 . . . You can just use your fist to break everything, and it's mostly a better way to beat enemies. Blocking is going to you so far in this game. So fun to block stuff. 😃👍
First: prepare yourself...the story hits hard. 😉 Second: The game is based on both Greek & Norse mythology so you will see characters from both. Third: Getting to where recalling your axe DURING COMBAT is a reflex can make the difference. You do generally cause more damage in melee but keeping enemies at range will generally reduce the damage you take. Fourth: There will be times when you will have to manage your use of healing 💚 so try to avoid simply activating every one you find...

One really cool thing about this game that can get missed sometimes is that there are no camera cuts. The entire game is one shot.

2018 is an interesting year. It's around that time that we began to realize that it's not just neckbeards who play video games. From time to time attractive people play them as well. That realization shook everyone to their core. All of their neck hairs stood on end.

I will highly recommend you cover the original trilogy.
Whether it is just the story or playing the games themselves.
There are technically 5 games to cover.
But either way I haven't started the video yet.

Hello Liz, so cool do see you pick up the God of war games! I kind of drifted away from your channel after RDR2, but i will surely follow this series closely.
I would highly recommend that you take an hour on wikipedia to read up on the basics in norse mythology to begin with. Even if the game is very artisticly far from the mythology it is still set in that pantheon and it is good to know the names and realms and what they represent.
And also find some quick brief about Kratos backstory, it might also be good.

Fun to see someone new finding this game series. I imagine you are a bit green considering the lore. The series is packed with character development and history so finding a summary of the lore might get you to feel up to speed 😊

12 mins. in she missed the one in the yard understandable but she walks right by the one on the right and but gets the one on the left 😊. (ALGORITHM)😉 . . . You can just use your fist to break everything, and it's mostly a better way to beat enemies. Blocking is going to you so far in this game. So fun to block stuff. 😃👍
First: prepare yourself...the story hits hard. 😉
Second: The game is based on both Greek & Norse mythology so you will see characters from both.
Third: Getting to where recalling your axe DURING COMBAT is a reflex can make the difference. You do generally cause more damage in melee but keeping enemies at range will generally reduce the damage you take.
Fourth: There will be times when you will have to manage your use of healing 💚 so try to avoid simply activating every one you find...

The letter "Ö" (Oumlaut) was an import to Swedish from German a few centuries ago. It would not have been used by the Late Iron Age Nordics. Well, they wouldn't have used any of the Latin alphabeth. The Danish / Norwegian equivalent is a slashed O. The sound value is like the French "-eu" or the English "i" in "sir". As a Swede i use "Jotun" which actually means "Devourer" not "Giant". Jotnar (plural) are forces of change, and at least the female ones can be good. Often married to Gods.
