I ordered one from a Holosun 503g as well because I wanted the QD feature and I knew this one lined up well with the holosun magnifier from other reviews.
Scalarworks Mounts are the best on the market. Nothing comes close. Yes, they’re expensive, but they’re that much better. Worth every penny. Only use Scalarworks mounts now.
I would generally agree with the value arguement if it was any mount, but the holosun oem mount. The Holosun oem mount is notorious for warping on rails, the locking screw snap and plethora of other issues. A quick google will have a bunch of these things confirmed. Holosun makes a good red dot, but the 1/3rd or absolute co-witness mount is junk for any extended or more strenuos use.
LOL I just burned a hole in my wallet buying one of the LEAP RMR lower 1/3 witness versions. Honestly not too happy about the price so I hope I see and feel the quality, I also liked the idea of being able to swap it quick. Probably should have just gone with a $25 Haga Defense though...
Nope, they’re worth the money. If it’s not in your budget, ok then, but to say it’s not worth the money... that’s like saying a Ferrari isn’t worth the money, because your Nissan works just fine lol. Cheap is Cheap.
@@shookadance Something being worth the money can only be decided by you. It's incredibly subjective. If you feel that it's worth it, that's totally fine. If you feel that it's not worth it, it's not any less valid. What's not subjective is the fact that you can buy an ADM mount for 2/3rd the price (and often less) and it does the exact same thing. And that means that everyone has to make the decision about whether or not it's worth the extra $50. And surely you wouldn't apply this "cheap is cheap" mindset to ADM, would you? Just because something is less expensive doesn't mean it's of any less quality. A ton of things go into the cost of a product and when a small company like Scalarworks throws a ton of money into r&d they're bound to drive their price up.
5 points to scalarworks for looking cool, which is the most important thing

I will agree. They are top notch. And worth their price.
My 1.93 LPVO mount was a tough pill to swallow but I couldn't have done it any other way to mount my Razor.
I'm sure it's a great setup tho
How’s the scalarworks compare to offerings today?

It looks like nice but not for the price. That is the cost of a sig romeo 5 lol.
Cheap is Cheap.
They are pricey, but top notch all the way around.
@@CDOES I often look at the money I have spent and asked why in the world did get into this lifestyle??? It hurts lol
Not worth the money.

They are. But they aren't for everyone. Including myself.
@@shookadance that is the perfect analogy.
