Actually a basic attack will break the deathslingers chain but since the hatchet isn't a basic attack then the chain doesn't break which is why it is a instant down.
@@kingol4801 Not. Hatchet should break chain. Actually, the survivor being hit should have 0.5 seconds of complete invincibility as well to avoid this. That's enough to play around for killers.

In fact, if any survivors gets injured by M1 attack while someone else is speared, chain breaks on speared survivor due to the lazy coding (code is probably something in the lines of "if anyone gets hit by basic attack, chain breaks) or a bug because of the spaghetti coding BHVR does. Which makes Deathslinger not exactly a good 2v8 killer atm aside of support role. (Since you are 4,4, have not much presence on 2v8 huge maps due to the slow traversal despite being semi-M1 (short distance) killer and can´t even use your power reliably because chain breaks if someone injures a survivor somewhere on another continent). M2s shouldn't be any different in this aspect so this is probably an oversight. I personally disagree with the invincibility as those doubletaps are not that easy to perform or effective in some situations but they sure are fancy (both killers on one spot means that there is a fat chance that on the other side of this huge map are survivors smashing gens like crazy completely unharassed). So killers shouldn´t be punished for that more if they decide to go for it for style points.

@@dimentiooMaybe, but it's a hilarious mistake. Plus, it's nice that Deathslinger shines in this mode. In the regular game, he doesn't have a lot to make people want to pick him over Huntress. But here, he's probably the best support character so far.
@@poissonsumac7922 i think that Wraith or Spirit can work with a good Finishing support type of killer, but Death deff have it's qualities, just ignore the annoying bug where the harpoon get broken if your ally hit someone else while you are harpooning another survivor
@@feralmagick7177 if so then you should report the bug to bhvr. Cuz as far as I know, it does show all the time. But you shouldn’t rely on the sound cue because if the aura reveal resets before the first one ends, they won’t make any cue sound… so I always keep a look out for the eye icon lol
LITERALLY WHERE ARE THE KILLERS LIKE YOU IN MY QUEUES ?!!! All the killers I get queued up with end up straying so far away from me that almost all the survivors end up getting out :/
Sadly billy and slinger as a combo is so bugged I played one match as slinger and my teamate was billy, and whenever I speared someone and the billy got a down, didn’t matter if it was they were across the map or if it wasn’t the chained survivor, the chain would just break. For Some reason whenever it registered billy getting a down in general, didn’t matter which survivor it was, if they were chained or not, it would break the chained survivor free, even though it’s supposed to only be if the chained survivor got injured.
I find Wraith and Spirit both as Fearmonger class more oppressive; unseen, fast as hell, and benefit from not being near each other (which also benefits map pressure). What this video showed was a bunch of Survivors being dummies.
Played against this yesterday and it was worse than facing a blight and nurse both with 10k+ hours each. At least I felt like I could do something because they didn't group up much, but this was completely unfair for survivors, I don't know why they didn't add the endurance after the first hit to avoid double taps, but instead they buffed the hell out of the survivor classes.
Trapper and Blight are better. His rapid movement has survivors on edge, and they run into traps more often. The undetectable and brute builds work well.
Absolute trash event for me, because they managed to add blight and deathslinger while Huntress and nurse are in game, killers are just try harding and ruin the game, 2v8 is most boring gamemode BECAUSE of the killers abusing like usual

Slinger is bugged or something because I’ve speared survivors and it’s either an instant break free with no injury or if I catch them at a window and there able to break free again no injuries
@@elvivassurvivors only need to do one Gen each. And you can't even 3 Gen cuz there are like 6 Gens in the final one. Most matches you'll start at 6 Gens and not 8.
