@Ana María Lopez Teviño no problem. I'm not an American myself ( I'm from the UK) but 4 members of my family served in the military. I have immense respect for anyone that puts on a uniform.
He aboslutely has already repaid it. He signed that blank check that all of us who have served in the military have, the one that says "Up to and including my life", payable to the nation I serve.
He said it best... "I didn't wanna be there but our country needed us". Every service man/woman deserves the respect, support & admiration of us civilians. They do so much for us and ask nothing in return.
Sanchez417 Amen! I could not have said it better myself. Sure ppl have the right to kneel during the anthem, but the only statement being made is a show of disrespect for those who fought for their rights.
Sanchez417 That’s very correct! That’s why it’s a sacrifice to Serve our Country! You obviously don’t do it for the money, nor the recognition, but because you love your country & your fellow man. This country is Free, Because of the Brave!
I was lucky to be in the Idaho Army National Guard, A Co. 2/116 Cav we deployed to Iraq in 2004 not too long after I had joined. I'd been in for about 3-1/2 years when the orders came down. When I went through basic training at Fort Knox, KY our drill Sergeants kept saying we'd be going, they were right. Honestly it was one of the best experiences, you learn a lot, you grow close to your fellow soldiers, learn trust, respect, courage, you do what you have to do. I think during the 12 years i was in the Army the best time other than deployment was the holidays. We'd gather up Christmas baskets made by the local food bank, and take them to families in town that were nominated for them. Most were families in circumstances where they weren't really making it, they could just barely make ends meet, we'd take gift baskets and help the Marines with Toys for Tots. I loved it, I wish I could just do that every day as a career, go around and give to those who need it. It was great to see how happy people were when we'd pull into their driveway in a HMMWV and bring them a Christmas basket full of food, then drop off presents for the kids. I've never seen so many kids so happy in their lives to get what they were given and never ask for anything. Our community was so supportive of us while we were deployed we never had to worry about anything, they had a group together that helped out each other. If something broke, needed fixed, yards taken care of, vehicles fixed, etc. they had a list of people in the support group to call to get them taken care of. It was like a huge family, we always had each other's backs, even our family back home had each other's backs it was amazing to see the team effort put together to make sure everyone deployed and at home were taken care of. It wasn't all fun and games, there were a lot of thing going on during our deployment that kept us on our feet, but we made it home, every single one of us made it home. I don't think any of us are the same as we were before but we all came back alive. Instead of a high school reunion I would love to do a Company Reunion of those who deployed from my unit. I think it would be awesome to do someday.
How can a War Vet serve his country and know he could possibly die in doing so, only to come home to the land he protected to nothing? That's sad. Truly sad. For what it's worth sir, *thank you* for your service. ❤
That's what I say all the time, they risked their life for the country and if they make it back home they're just struggling like any other human being.... That's the little town where I live, all veterans and old people who served in the army and now they have no home, family and been treated like everyone else....
@@alexjames1681 I agree with you, they risked their life for our country that's why I really respect them. I have 4 brothers who are still in military service 2 of them in army ,1 a navy seals and a policeman.
melissa ann We should be ashamed as a nation to have our service veterans living like this , with nothing and still trying to look out for others. Ashamed. My daughter is a hororably discharged navy vet that doesn’t really want people out side of family and close friends to know this. We have several family members that served or are serving. A Navy/ Coast Guard family. Veterans living like that is outrageous.
Jujie Sy Praise to your family. Yours sound like ; veterans of the Navy(3), 2 still serving out of Norfolk, Virginia. And a deceased Retired Coast Guard (Chief,)Veteran . My youngest daughter included is is a honorably disabled Navy veteran.
Dang it! To see someone who served our country struggling like that, and their disbelief that someone wants to help, it just hurts to think they've lost hope.
Monty Leverett , I read a few days ago that the Navy Seal who killed Bin Laden had to quit before retirement due to military injuries and became homeless. He didn't get paid for the bounty on Bin Laden's head. That should be a crime!!! Mind blowing and makes me angry and cry!!!
That is still happening, many veterans that have gone to war for the Criminals in the USA are struggling and some are homeless. The Government that sent them to fight a dirty war turn their back in their useful Idiots. That is democracy USA style for you.
Broke my heart when he said some of his friends froze to death. I'm going to buy some blankets. I encourage others to do the same and give them to the homeless.
I'm a 12 year vet & I'm sat here with tears rolling down my face for what Fox5 just did yet again. These guys & girls are simply MAGIC. May Buddha bless every one of them for their Generosity & kindness showing an example of how we all should be, every day of our lives. Boy this world we inhabit would be so much better for it.
It's ludicrous how much money men get to chase balls of varying sizes around various fields...meanwhile men who were often still teenagers when they were sent to a literal hellhole where they were handed guns and told to run up hills, shoot anyone they saw, run back down, wait, run back up the hill, repeat. Crawl through a swamp, sleep in a ditch, repeat. Then they come home with permanent injuries and trauma and are literally spit on by their fellow Americans and ignored by their government. Yay, America.
What it comes down to is greed because somebody out there will say these soldiers are not promoting in selling a Jersey and or getting over 80,000 in tickets in the stadium sold out & many & yes many more reasons
My thoughts exactly. We sat down and figured out how much we got paid per day while we were deployed to Iraq and it wasn't even minimum wage, more like less than $1/hour. People love their little 9-5 jobs but your military personnel are often out for 24+ hours at a time without a break, many times over. I know I was always pulling more patrols just so my fellow soldiers could get some much needed rest, I'd come back from a patrol and go right back out on the next one just so someone else didn't have to go...also helped pass the time keeping busy, not having the time to think about everything going on...but once you get back out of a combat zone and all that catches up with you its usually in the form of PTSD.
Suraj Lama Haha. Yeah you are right Nepal wasn't part of India but it was a part of Sanatha Dharma. Haha what do they operate? By taking out the power for 16hrs a day? 😂😂. Atleast after we got Independence, we are the fastest growing Nation, and a country which was never colonized is sitting without power 16 hrs day😂😂😂
I've been looking at the Military and it does seem they pay decently, but it seems you really have to save almost everything you earn when you are still serving. Ie save and invest in TSP / BRS while you're in. You can have a million or so in savings over a 20 year career.
Caramel Delight it helps restore my faith in humanity. With all the horrible things going on in the world it's nice to see good things happening for deserving people.
The tears always build during these kinds of videos but the moment the vet saying if there is anything he can do to repay this kindness and the reporter says, "You've done it" those tears came flooding down my face. So beautiful! 3:30
I don't know why . but i can't stop watching this show. i'm from Philippines . i hope we have like this kind of show . the way they help . i'm from Philippines . i'm just ordinary people here . who needs to work very hard and pay for small amount . but i'm proud Pilipino . salute for this show . 😊👍👏
It always breaks my heart for some reason when a vet thanks me for helping them with something so simple. I understand why they do, it's just that they've done so much more for me and millions of others and I dont even truly understand the scope of what they've offered to this country for us. ♡ Vets can be some of the most humble humans... :]

I live in Tulsa OK. I just saw this story. Oh wow!!! I have 2 military veteran son's who fought in Iraq. One of my son's Marine buddies didn't make it home. That lead me to becoming friend's of that heroic soldier's mother. I've been a registered nurse for many years which has allowed me to care for many veterans. The most amazing people ever!! Thank you for sharing and caring!!! Refreshing!!!

Thanks for helping Larry. Our veterans do a lot for us, more than most would ever understand. I spent 12 years in the Army, enjoyed every minute if I could do it again I'd be on the next plane just to keep one of our young men or women from having to go. Iraq 2004-2005.
Thank you larry for everything you do. SOme of the most incredible people you will ever meet hardly care about themselves. This man is a humble treasure.
I started crying as soon as he started shopping. When you see someone so grateful it really pulls at your heart strings. He can’t even do for himself but he still takes the time to help his sister and take her everywhere she needs to go.
Thank you all so much for that! My father, grandfather, and cousin are all veterans and you have no idea what it means to these guys for someone to just do the simplest thing for them to say thank you! They all have done so much for us and they deserve a lot better treatment than recieve! So thank you on their behalf! Keep up the good work God will bless you in the end!
Nothing more heartbreaking than to hear a war vet homeless and frozen to death. Worst way to die is with an empty stomach and knowing the people you fought for was just passing by living their freedom.
how can people not like this!!!!! is very caring & thoughtfulness, gesture.espicallywen the verten, was helping....kind lady.kudos... to fox five... surprise!!!!!!!
I'm 65 yo male from St Louis, MO and I came across the video of the mother who asked a neighbor to be caregivers for her 3 children after she found out she had cancer. At first I thought that it was just a fictional story until I looked up the Fox 5 Las Vegas. I have not been able to stop watching all their videos nor stopped crying. It brings me so much joy to know that we still have people who are more concerned about others than themselves. Although I have never served in the military, it saddens me that our beautiful country does so very little for our veterans yet we have the funds and resources to help other countries. With all that the world has been in for the past 3 years and currently, that we stilll love and care for our fellow man, just wish that it could be much better.
If you served our country you should never have to struggle again. They struggled being away from their families, watched friends die, and did unthinkable things to keep our country what it was.
More power to all the vets in the United states. The United States does not come close to taking care of its own veterans. Because of them we still live in a free country. The veterans deserve so much more. Could you imagine yourself in a foreign country that you are not familiar with? And all you are provided is a change of clothes a little food and a canteen and a rifle. Everyone of our veterans deserves so much more. We can never thank them enough. Stand up and stand strong for your veterans
Awesome job guys those guys came home to people spitting on them called them baby killers that was a low time in America so anything we do today to make it up to these heroes is great we need to do so much more for are vets 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍👍👍
HELLO, I'M A DISABLED VET LIVING IN QUITO ECUADOR. I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS AND I THANK GOD FOR WHAT YOU ARE DOING. I COULD USE SOME HELP HERE BUT THIS COUNTRY IS COLD ABOUT DOING THIS FOR PERSONS WHO SERVED IN THE STATES. BUT I AM SO THANKFULL THAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU EXIST IN THIS WORLD. GOD BLESS AMERICA. BLESSINGS TO ALL
Fox5, Thank You so much for your kindness towards our Veterans, who gave so much, so that we could have our freedom. So many have been lost in the cracks of our society. I'm just so happy that a couple of them could be helped.
The veteran part really touched me and i can't hold my tears. Way to go Fox5 Surprise Squad!! You are doing a great job all the time. I love watching your videos in the UA-cam and i really love the super edition one. Way to go Surprise Squad!! Lots of love from India. :-)
Every single episode of the Fox 5 Surprise Squad touches our hearts one way or another. For now I was actually crying of happiness because that is how I am.
You made me cry so hard , my daughter passed away recently and it reminded me of when she made hats and scarfs for the homeless. I miss her so much she was only 18 .
they risked almost their whole lives just to serve and protect their country..and they ended up struggling like this 😢😢😢.. God bless this people in surprise squad for letting this heroes knew they were loved and appreciated 👍😍👍
Im from texas and i watch these suprise squads front utube..yall make me cry every time!!!$ being a mother of 4 working nights i understand the stress of money.and for yall to do this is so life changing!! It shows some people do care!! Makes me want to move to Vegas!$ lol
I cry on every one of these videos. Thank you guys so much & all your sponsors for giving such hope. I pray to be blessed in this way in SC cuz it is so hard right now. Been sick over 7 yrs & lost everything, struggle so. All these people you help are so deserving & the humanity being shared is the most touching thing to watch. Thank you.
Mr Robeson if you see this reply, on behalf of all my family and friends we salute you for everything you've done everything your family and fellow veterans have done for us, all of you deserve so much more. Welcome home!
You made me cry, you folk need to shine your light and spirit and ideas to other cities. I’m from Calgary, Alberta Canada I know few folk who need a bit of TLC
Dude survived the horrors of Nam, had some tough breaks and still had the gumption to ask; "If there is anything I could do to repay this"........... Salute
Praise God! Loving your neighbor as yourself! Being a veteran, people don't realize the high unemployment rate, homelessness and health issues we go through. Thank you Fox 5 Las Vegas for loving and helping!
"If there's anything I can do to repay this..."
"You've done it."
Well said.

Thank you so much Larry... For being that person who was willing to give up everything for us... All i have to offer to our Vets are my prayers.
Proud to call Las Vegas my home ... thanks for helping out my fellow Viet Nam vets.
heartbreaking to hear he lost his 3 brothers they frost to death..
Nothing more heartbreaking than to hear a war vet homeless and frozen to death. Worst way to die is with an empty stomach and knowing the people you fought for was just passing by living their freedom.

As a Vietnam widow, I thank you so much. Lardog made me cry.
Finally, good news... No negativity, just helping others.
Love the humble nature of those folks they helped... Beautiful people!!
how can people not like this!!!!! is very caring & thoughtfulness, gesture.espicallywen the verten, was helping....kind lady.kudos... to fox five... surprise!!!!!!!
Your acts of kindness is so much appreciated all the way from Papua New Guinea...
If you served our country you should never have to struggle again. They struggled being away from their families, watched friends die, and did unthinkable things to keep our country what it was.
It's the appreciation these people show that make me tear up. God bless Fox 5!! You guys are amazing!!
What an amazing and kind thing to do. I was crying for the entire video. Our Veterans deserve our help and respect.
You guys are doing a great deed here but my hats off to the vet who served our country. THANK YOU!!
i am a man and these ppl make me cry
love from india
Im a mom in scotland and i love this fox 5...it makes me so greatful for what i have...God bless xxx
You guys made me CRY tears of Happiness & Love💖THANK YOU FOR HELING PEOPLE IN NEED!❣️💓You show them that THEIR LIFE MATTERS💜❤️💖💞THANK YOU❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
HELLO, I'M A DISABLED VET LIVING IN QUITO ECUADOR. BLESSINGS TO ALL
That tears me apart a little bit. I love this and if anyone is unaware of what Gary Sinise does for our vets, you should look into it.
This has me bawling my eyes out. How touching ❤
Hi. You guys r doing some great job. God bless you all. ❤️
Asha from Mauritius Island 🏝
I just wanted to give that veteran a Big Hug, it made me cry!
The world needs more people like Larry. Thanku Larry for serving your country. 🇺🇸
Fox5, Thank You so much for your kindness towards our Veterans, who gave so much, so that we could have our freedom. So many have been lost in the cracks of our society. I'm just so happy that a couple of them could be helped.
THANK YOU for helping this man. No man who served especially one drafted should do without ever.
The veteran part really touched me and i can't hold my tears. Way to go Fox5 Surprise Squad!! You are doing a great job all the time. I love watching your videos in the UA-cam and i really love the super edition one. Way to go Surprise Squad!! Lots of love from India. :-)
I love, honor and respect all our service members.

Thank you.
Welcome home sir and thank you for making it back
Lar dog, you are the sweetest guy, I’m so happy something good has come to you ❤ from Australia
Thank you Fox 5 Las Vegas for loving and helping!
why do I keep watching this videos?? Can't stop crying.
I am a 26 years grown man, still can't stop my tears falling.
