Thanks for posting. There is always something to learn from you regarding the Pro 100.
Great video. I just bought this printer used and when I go to select the paper size in Lightroom I don't have all the options that you do. Did you download the software from the cd that comes with the printer to get all those options? I'm trying to print on 13x19 paper but I don't have the option for that. Thanks in advance!
Hi there! First, you should watch my other videos about connecting it if you haven't, otherwise you may end up with the dreaded double profiling issue. That being said, Most of the paper options I use I created. Its very easy. Simply push the plus sign and enter the paper dimensions and the margins you want. 13x19 should be stock though. Look towards the top of the preinstalled sizes for A3. Note that a3 isn't actually 13x19, its barely under, but that matters when you are creating cells and stuff in Lightroom. Hope that helps!
paper presets from company? do you down load profiles from the web(paper company)?
Thanks for this video Jarred. Every time I print with the Canon Pro 100 my ICC profiles are no longer listed under the Color Management drop down section. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Hi there! The only thing I can think of is when you select "other" and pick your profiles you aren't checking the box next to them. Have you tried this?
Being new to printing, I am having trouble getting the same image on my screen to print on my 13”x19” I keep cutting off feet, I think it’s do to me cropping my images in Lightroom.
I keep wasting inc, and paper trying different setting. Did you ever have this issue?
Your canon Pro 100 videos are very helpful as I have the same printer. Thank you!
So if the image is appearing how you want in the screen, the problem is likely in the final steps of your print process. Is everything coming out right (margins etc) except the feet are getting cut off?
Now that you mention that, I did notice the top was cut off a bit, as well as just the left side of the image.
It’s basically a 3 year old I front of the Christmas tree, couch came out so in Lightroom CC I cropped in on the girl.
I pre ordered the M1 MacBook Pro, and as I am selling my current touch-bar MacBook Pro I wiped it clean. I had no choice but to install the canon software the the Mac I am selling, just change the size settings on the canon. I did the edits on Lightroom CC on my iPad.
I have no experience with Canons print program. Can you no install Lightroom on your new Mac?
Unfortunately my workflow has come to a halt until I get my new MBP. Hopping I get it by the 23rd. Once I get it I will be visiting all your helpful videos.
Thanks for your responses.
12 months ago you said canon color matching are better and now that the color sync is better 🙄
Actually I didn’t. I said that canons color was better than the double profile problem. As I learned more I discovered the proper way to fix it and made a new video for that. This method uses the proper method. You are welcome to ask for clarification.
@@phototocanvaspdx thank you for your answer. The problem is That I have installed the canon pixma 100s today on my mac and I don't have the Color matching option on the list 🙄🤷🏻♂️
@@remyloz8843 did you watch this one? ua-cam.com/video/dleXCq8bB48/v-deo.html. It’s all about how you connect the printer.
@@remyloz8843 you need to make sure you are using the canon pro-100 driver not the Mac one. That’s is likely why you don’t have that option.
@@phototocanvaspdx I have downloaded the driver fron canon and installed and don't have it. 😕
Talking too much rubbish!
I no longer print right out of Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. I use the Windows Photo view to print my photos and the screen to print color match is dead on. Printing right out of Adobe was such a pain & there was always a color mismatch.
I have to wonder if they are hearing about this. I have a new epson printer that suddenly prints like shit through Adobe.
Thank you for this along with a few of your other videos. I got this printer second hand and struggled for days trying to get this thing working correctly. Your videos put me in the correct direction and my photos are printing perfect. Thank you.
