What a fantastic lesson for this beautiful song! I love how you add interest by putting in different strumming patterns within a song. Since I'm really an older beginner with limited flexibility, is there any way that you could give the closest open chords during the outro section? I realize they won't be exactly like the Barre chords, but I'd love to play this song and am finding it difficult with the outro. Thank you, Amber. Hi Mary, wow thank you! Very much appreciate your kind words 🙏🎵I could suggest playing the barre chords as power chords instead (so this means just strumming the EAD strings for the F#m chord and then just strumming the ADG for the C#m chord. 🎵

Brings back sweet memories of the late 1960s . When I was a little kid. Watching batman and Robin before going to school. I remember seeing fastback mustangs brand new. What a time to live. Watching the news and seeing the rocket ship Apollo 11 the eagle with Neil Armstrong and buzz aldrin land on the moon 🌙 and walk on it. That was groovy 😊.

One thing I just discovered at the age of 70 I've suddenly discovered that I have been using the wrong kind of pick, my playing sucks when I use a heavy pick even though I have tried a thin one before, I am feeling much more confident now , I new where to go on the fret board but it just didn't sound right. I had lessons up till bout 13 yrs of age & put it down & picked it up again at around 23, so 👍 up to everyone out there. It's was about 3:30 am when I woke up
That's fantastic! It sounds like you're on the right track with finding the perfect pick. The thinner picks are better for strumming. I use a 0.5mm and it does the trick! Enjoy rediscovering your love for playing the guitar and make sure you are having FUN! 🎵🙌
