Red Dead Roleplayer Go 10 Seconds Without A Lasso - Impossible
Lasso should’ve never been in the online part of the game to begin with tbh. Or at least nerfed where only animals/npc’s can be lassoed
@@Angel-fg1cg the server I watch has rules to wear if you have a gun out they aren’t allowed to lasso you or if you’re just a dangerous criminal they won’t and it’s just kind of frown upon in general
@@Nooob3775 Server I play on only allows you to hogtie some one when they are complying with your demands during a robbery. Or if you're fleeing a hostile situation. So no one can just walk up to you and tie you up.

Lassos are fine in rdo because you can easily break free and nobody really uses it. Redm is a different story tho 😂

R is Block/counter (If you hold R you'll block but if you press it right before an attack you'll counter)
In order to counter you press R and when you counter press F right after to mess em up good.

It’s hilarious that this is meant to be Wild West RP, a notoriously lawless and brutal period in history when pretty much everyone was encouraged to open carry… yet they arrest you for doing so lmao.
Actually open carry was discouraged during the industrial revolution. Still accurate for the area IMO.
So out in the west if you entered town you had to surrender your guns at the sheriff office, or often the taverns will have places to hold guns for people stopping in for short amount of time. You would get told to leave, and then arrested if you don't. It would often be cowboys, who are people who work at ranches, would not want to give up their guns to get a drink that cause trouble. They get roughed up, ran out of town, or arrested. Often the sheriffs will have past experience doing crime then become the law in time.
@@monkeyman123321 yes but outside they had the rights to have their guns on them, not hide them in some imaginary pocket as is enforeced in the game and was it referenced in the OPs comment, were not talking inside a place of business.
@@kuntakentay6969 Outside of town means the town border. The act of hiding it in the pocket is just the best way to express the idea of checking them in with the law and/or the tavern keeper. So to be fully realistic they need to put in a storage box and force players to check their guns. The magic pocket is just a way to simulate that idea I would think. If I remember right the shootout at ok corral started when the local marshal's decision to enforce a city ordinance that prohibited the carrying of weapons into town. The cowboys refused and they shot each other.
@@monkeyman123321 outside. I never said outside of town, I said OUTSIDE. There were never any laws in the 1800’s that didn’t allow people to carry their guns around when they entered town. Only inside businesses. It was rare for a town in the Wild West to ban guns from ever coming into town as that wasn’t realistic at all for its time. Everyone carried weapons in those days. To be realistic to actual history anyone can ride into town with their weapons, but had to check them into a box at saloons

Yo to counter hold r (block) and move left or right to dodge (IMPORTANT BECAUSE NOBODY HAS MENTIONED THE DODGE COUNTER YET) and then immediately hit f right after to counter, another way is to hit r (block) right before they land their punch to stun them

Block and then punch, you can also dodge in you move while pressing the block button so you won’t take any damage

You go to that little shed thingy with the hay bails
You jump behind the wooden wall inbetween the wooden wall and the concrete jail wall and ragdoll and it pushes you out the cement wall after a few seconds
It doesn't always work first try

Best way to win fights - spam R you will never get hit and most of the time counter. As soon as you get a counter you can punch twice before he can hit you back then spam R again. Then repeat :)

To get good at fist fighting spam the block button, its more stamina efficient. Then after you block hit them once or twice to counter. You can also grapple them after a block for a couple easy punches

if you hold R while moving in any direction with WASD while in combat it blocks/doges the attacks so you can try and use that next time you get in a fist fight. and to simplify combat just use F to attack which also works as a tackel while charging them
