Yorkshire Television July 1982 continuity and ads

Following the end of the film, a look ahead to Monday 5th July 1982 on YTV with The Krypton Factor, Coronation Street and highlights of England v Spain in the World Cup. Followed by a couple of adverts (before the tape ran out)

YTV had the best announcers in it's heyday. I could pick up both Central TV & YTV in North Nottingham

It's interesting to see what looks like the "TVS" font for the programme names at the bottom on the screen - I wouldn't have imagined them doing a network trailer like that. I remember the old "Pattern A" and "Pattern B" thing listed in the newspapers at the time - I think that it was an ITV only thing. The Central announcer often mentioned them in the later 1980s. 2:36 We will probably never know what the final advert was advertising - my guess is that it would have been for wood varnish such as Ronseal, or perhaps a garden centre of DIY store. Wonder if that advert still exists in full in someone's collection? It's frustrating when you see an archive ad break and the final advert stops after a couple of seconds like it does here, so we'll probably never know what it was advertising.

Looks like TVS designed the special season advert (given the font)
