I thought it was a great interview. I watch them everyday and it is definitely like a reality tv show. I personally could never be able to gamble like them but really enjoy the back and forth between all of them. I also have never seen people lose so much money and react so calmly about it. They have alot of class. I do really appreciate that they do show the loses as well as the wins. Most people just show the wins.

Regarding the jackpot of the week... Anthony erred in saying that the jackpot winner was playing DDB. The screen clearly shows that the game was TDB (hence the payout of 4000 coins for Aces+kicker). In TDB the correct play IS to hold the kicker along with the three aces. The player made the right play.

I was lucky enough to go on Vegas Matt’s inaugural cruise on Virgin in March and met the VM crew. They are the same on and off camera. Super generous and it was so much fun! They opened their mega rock star suite for a couple of happy hours with phenomenal hospitality. VM chartered a private yacht for us when the Dominican port was cancelled. It’s not just about the gambling…it’s a following.
Three years ago i moved from the Chicago area (which has a plethora of casinos to go to) to central Texas which has NONE ! I live vicariously thru Vegas Matt..Thats why i watch. :) 😀😀

But Vegas Matt is like a cult, the personality, the tidbits between the guys, and that Vegas Matt talks about Vegas mom and E J is part of the crew, it all looks so healthy, wholesome. You guys are great.
I can tell you why we watch their videos daily. Other slot channels you're watching somebody gamble. With Vegas Matt and crew, it's like you're gambling with them. With the banter and the jokes and bits and pieces of their lives we know about them. It feels like we're there with them. And they're all such awesome likable guys. That when they lose you're bummed that they lost because you're always rooting for them, and when they win you're just as excited as if you would have won yourself.

Great show guys. I am not a slots player so Vegas Matt never enticed me. However, after your last show I checked it out. I'm not a fan of reality television either, so it wasn't my cup of tea. Anthony I think that your questions were good questions and reflected a lot of my own thoughts. I didn't think that you were being "salty" or disrespectful. I think you were being inquisitive and simply asking questions to shed some light on Vegas Matt's channel and their business model. Like you Anthony, I learned a lot and have a better understanding why people would like to watch the content of their channel and I'm glad that there is a place for gamblers to go who feel that they gamble a bit too much. Vegas Matt and his crew feel like genuine guys just having a good time and happened to hit upon a model that is also lucrative. I feel last weeks show was a win win for all. Nice job.

When I first saw that the podcast was over an hour long, I almost didn't watch. Glad I did. The time went by fast and it was very enjoyable. Have no clue why some people think you were "salty." Maybe because you're not a person who keeps a smile on his face at all times. You're serious and thinking all the time. Sometimes that's not enough multi-tasking for some people.

No. Keeping the kicker is correct in Triple Double Bonus. Throwing away the kicker is a huge error. (This is something we covered specifically in training with the Jackpot Gents. They always play this hand correctly in TDB now.) The key is that you are cutting your odds of hitting quads by half, but the payout for hitting it with kicker is five times what it is without the kicker. (Edit: I see what mistake you made. You said that they were playing Double Double Bonus, but the first screen shot you gave at 25:10 showed that they are playing Triple Double Bonus. So what you are saying, throwing away the kicker, is correct for DDB. But they were playing TDB, so made the right play by keeping the kicker.)

My wife does not understand why I watch Vegas Matt either. I think your interview was done well, good questions. I think they are watched because they show both sides, the ups and downs and when they admit even in the long run they are down. People only gamble when it is money you can lose.
LVA one of my favorite LV UA-cam shows. Don’t live in LV, but been going since 1980, gambled at the Landmark and use a coin from there as my Holdem marker. Anyway, been a Video Poker player for over 40 years as such well aware of Bob Dancer then LasVegas Advisor and Anthony.
Enjoy watching the show and I’m in that category where I can get my gambling fix by watching others. Having said that, over time I’ve found I mostly choose to watch live casino play whenever possible. I’m kind of over the channels who only show recorded content and never lose, acting as if those are the only types of sessions they ever experience.
Oh heavenly days! Peoples’ perceptions are based upon their own inner personalities. Do they have a glass half empty or half full? I’ve watched your vlogs quite a while. So, I have a different perception of your questions and delivery. You were not salty, rude, condescending or anything close. You are a straight-shooter. You don’t candy-coat or pander to a person’s celebrity. Don’t sweat it! Yes. We followers of VM, et al, are invested in him, protective and feel as if he is a good friend. It’s all about his entertainment factor, quick wit, void of a filter, relationships with his son, E.J., WBG, W2Jesus and others. He is truly the real deal. It isn’t a mistake on TDB to hold a kicker with the Aces as it pays 4000. On DDB you do not hold the kicker because Aces with the kicker pays 2000.

No. Keeping the kicker is correct in Triple Double Bonus. Throwing away the kicker is a huge error. (This is something we covered specifically in training with the Jackpot Gents. They always play this hand correctly in TDB now.) The key is that you are cutting your odds of hitting quads by half, but the payout for hitting it with kicker is five times what it is without the kicker.
(Edit: I see what mistake you made. You said that they were playing Double Double Bonus, but the first screen shot you gave at 25:10 showed that they are playing Triple Double Bonus. So what you are saying, throwing away the kicker, is correct for DDB. But they were playing TDB, so made the right play by keeping the kicker.)

My wife does not understand why I watch Vegas Matt either. I think your interview was done well, good questions. I think they are watched because they show both sides, the ups and downs and when they admit even in the long run they are down. People only gamble when it is money you can lose.
LVA one of my favorite LV UA-cam shows. Don’t live in LV, but been going since 1980, gambled at the Landmark and use a coin from there as my Holdem marker. Anyway, been a Video Poker player for over 40 years as such well aware of Bob Dancer then LasVegas Advisor and Anthony.
Enjoy watching the show and I’m in that category where I can get my gambling fix by watching others. Having said that, over time I’ve found I mostly choose to watch live casino play whenever possible. I’m kind of over the channels who only show recorded content and never lose, acting as if those are the only types of sessions they ever experience.
Oh heavenly days! Peoples’ perceptions are based upon their own inner personalities. Do they have a glass half empty or half full? I’ve watched your vlogs quite a while. So, I have a different perception of your questions and delivery. You were not salty, rude, condescending or anything close. You are a straight-shooter. You don’t candy-coat or pander to a person’s celebrity. Don’t sweat it! Yes. We followers of VM, et al, are invested in him, protective and feel as if he is a good friend. It’s all about his entertainment factor, quick wit, void of a filter, relationships with his son, E.J., WBG, W2Jesus and others. He is truly the real deal. He doesn’t hide his losses that can be mind-boggling. Keep doing what you’re doing. Those of who are in-the-know will keep watching every week. P.S. Howie Mandell’s interview of VM was immensely cringe worthy. If you haven’t already, watch it.
