During a recent trip to Ghana, he took time out of his busy schedule to speak to Afi and Zuu about his past, his motivation, the future of Afrobeats, African music and what Ghanaian talents need to do to catch up to Nigerian musical artists.

    Zuu you are 100% right and I like his honesty. Fela Kuti who started Afrobeat (without the 'S') came to Ghana to learn how the highlife greats made Highlife and then took it back to Nigeria to start his Afrobeat. Fela's Afrobeat (without the 'S') inspired the new Afrobeats (with the 'S') everyone is doing now. So Ghana is the source of the sound. Good guest.
