I'm 72 & remember seeing them on tv for the first time years ago. They sang a song about a cup of coffee or tea. I loved it! A cup, a cup, a cup, a cup, a cup pah!
Much more timeless message and consolation being delivered by the Higher Power through this song. Originally black Gospel but POWERFUL black gospel, thank you Lord.
Saw them do this on the old Mike Douglas Show in 1976, first time I ever saw or heard of MT. Saw them again on New Year's Eve 1984 at Radio City - they were a great live act, lots of costume changes, just a great "show".
I’m 71 now, and have loved this amazing group from the time of their inception!!❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
I am 72 and don't think music is a question of age. Either you like it or not. But, as you I have liked them from the first time..

Beautiful. Call him up, tell him what you want! Jesus on the line now!
And we can forget, of course Jesus is on the mainline by Ry Cooder 😊
I just called Jesus and asked him for peace and happiness to all as we are about to embark on 2025. ❤😊
