I am a member of the FFF and am grateful for St Cecilia Parish for live streaming this Holy Thursday service.
The choir and accompanists were spectacular. Great selection of hymns.
I was overcome with the washing of the feet and couldn't stop the tears from flowing from my eyes. It is such a humbling experience to have your feet washed or be the recipient of this intimate experience.
Fr. Unni is truly a servant of the Lord and I was so touched when he reached out to the man in the wheelchair. May we all be inspired to emulate Fr. John's compassion, empathy, and love. He is a blessing to us all.

I have never been so emotionally touched as I was at this mass tonight. Usually, 4-5 hand picked people at my parish have their feet washed. You allowed any and all to come forward and model the washing of
the feet. The embraces and shared expressions of love touched my heart. This was my first bout of crying. When Fr. John went to the back to wash the feet of the man in the wheelchair, I lost it. The procession at the end, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, with the choir singing Tantum Ergo also got me crying. I think the Holy Spirit worked through you all to touch my heart in Southern California. Your homily was perfect.
My only disappointment was that the flow code didn’t work. Said it was disabled. I’ll try on your website.
Thank you to the choir, the participants, the Jebbies and the congregation for touching my heart. God’s blessings with you all. 💖🙏🏼

I just reviewed a video from Vatican News and once again was in tears. Pope Francis washed the feet of women inmates in Rome. He sat in his wheelchair and washed and dried their feet. Afterward, he kissed their feet.
Truly an act of humility and compassion. May we all follow his lead.

I have been to many of the Holy Thursday masses at St. C in person-- this year, I'm remote- and Fr. John- this was one of the best-- thank you as always for making the connections we need to hear so we can think and become closer to our God.... Happy Easter
