Part of the reason the crusades where as terrifying as they where was because the paladins and templars believed wholeheartedly that what they where doing was just and holy. There was so second guessing or hesitation and being in a mindset of feeling powerful and not hesitating to take action can make a world of difference
I am literally doing my engineering hw with a whole background story in my head where im like the only one left on Earth with the ability to understand these "ancient texts" on material fabrication and I have to learn it so that I can build giant war machines and armor to combat the spread of an evil zombie horde army....... makes reading this textbook and doing its practice problems a lot more interesting. Everything is more fun with an imagined impending sense of doom and epic purpose. I blame corny 90's movies

edward gray well you’ll never be totally ready but - lot of running distance running build endurance . Do about 50 pushups before you start your day and before you go to sleep . Be mindful you’ll be yelled at constantly, guys will try and show off don’t be that person just give 100% and you’ll be fine . Remember your doing this for God family country , not personal adoration , if you’re not in a relationship don’t start one early.

edward gray well you’ll never be totally ready but - lot of running distance running build endurance . Do about 50 pushups before you start your day and before you go to sleep . Be mindful you’ll be yelled at constantly, guys will try and show off don’t be that person just give 100% and you’ll be fine . Remember your doing this for God family country , not personal adoration , if you’re not in a relationship don’t start one early.
