Sound Devices MixPre Series: Sometimes It Makes Sense To Spend More

Camera bodies can become obsolete after only a few years. But good audio gear can last and be relevant for decades. Think about classic mics like the SM58 and Sennheiser 416. With camera bodies date them, but marry your lenses. With audio kit it sometimes makes a lot of sense to spend more. One of these MixPre units could be the last mixer/recorder/interface box you ever need to buy.
But, if you can't swing the $1k+

Not unless I really needed the 4 extra XLR inputs. Very big price difference between the 6 and the 10. Thanks for watching.
