The only point to add is that if you want to increase space in C drive then you need to divide the space in the drive which is very next to C drive. then only it will work. For Example if you have C , D , and E drive hen you can't make out space for C drive by dividing E drive, you need to target D drive
Question - If you only have C and D and now you have a new E drive - can you not simply transfer the space from the E drive to C? Rather than copying the files from D to E than transferring D to C? or does the same logic work for this scenario?

Thnx brother i have extended my c drive because of you thankyou so much 👍
Thanks brother. I have 4 TB of space, but I had only 199 GB in c drive 😅
Now, I solved my problem ❤
What did you use to transfer the space, did you have a ssd? Cause my harddrive is in a mother disk
@@UnkownCookie Yes, I have a SSD
Thanks very much it worked for me though there was a recovery disk that was prohibiting the extension on Disk C. It was also solved based on your guidance
Those whose extend drive option is greyed out. You need to have unallocated space just beside the C drive in order to extend it.
I was using D drive as my storage drive, so I had to move all my data from D to other drive. Once drive beside C was free I just deleted it and extended C drive :)
recovery partition is between C and unallocated space.. what should i do?
@@esportslover5026 same

I have the same problem.. can u help please? @@esportslover5026
This is good info, I just needed this info, I watched some other videos, but this was the best. Thanks!
i got my C drive in a different Disk and my other drives are in disk 0 how do i move C to disk 0
same
Thanks brother you saved my life! Best wishes for you! I am an Electrical Engineer but can't figure out how to resize c folder
Thanks a lot man. Btw, why yo didnt just extend C with the unallocated space in F, without copying the file from E to F.
that was my thoughts as well, must be a reason but what is it?
@@mychefm5019 You can only extend a volume with space that is directly to the right of itself. the position in the horizontal bar of the unallocated space does actually matter
Really Helpful.Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much this solved my problem.
Thank you so much. This was really helpful because I was facing that grey delete button which wasn’t allowing me to merge or extend my Disk C. Thank you so much
Aomei is a useful tool in disk management better than disk management I think.
Very helpful video.thank you very much
well in C Drive "extend drive" is disabled.
Same
Yes but if there is an unlocated drive in its right side then it will be visible
Same problem
@Toasty yt unallocated drive MUST be right beside it, there should not be any drive between unallocated and C drive.
@@uthpakhi Thank you so much Dude..
Man, you really help us out. Thank you so much!
7:46 Extend Volume Option will be highlighted only when while Installing the OS you have not created any partition ( Which happen mostly in the case of SSDs which has low space eg.256GB, 512GB etc.So nobody or company create the partition while Installing the Operating System).
If you have created any partition this option will be greyed out...then you have to use any 3rd party software.....
so if the C drive is grey highlighted, what is the best solution?
@@AbdulHalim-tv9uj have you found an answer? i also got my c drive grey highlighted. Can you tell me what you did to extend your C drive bro? Looking forward to your response.
@@danfrancisco2599just make the unallocated space adjacent to the c drive so for that u might have to delete a drive so backup it
The following video helped me A LOT to solve this problem:

THANKS bro without you i cant download games like gta or minecraft

I have a space called "Healthy (Recovery Partition)", and an "Unallocated" space between my C and D drive. What can I do with this since the C and D drive must be next to each other to perform the steps above?
After doing everything extend volume is grayed(not clicking) please reply and tell whats the problem and how to fix??
Thank you! Your video was very helpful. I used it to extend my C drive and I made it :) Normally I don't have any knowledge about computers.
IMPORTANT QUESTION! since i would need to copy about 800GB of stuff to a new drive. could i just buy a new drive, and then use that drives space to extend my C drive? because if i can, then thats what ill do, cuz i wont lie, im a bit scared to copy and then delete 800GB worth of stuff. i really hope you get back to me. thank you so much if you do.
try putting all that stuff in a backup file and if anything goes wrong you still have everything
Thank you for the explanation. The disk manager wizard is NOT intuitive AT ALL. This video clears it up.
