- Making one espresso in real time in my car with Handpresso Auto using E.S.E pods. I was impressed they found space for a the pump in the small housing. When I read the description on the webpage I thought they only use steam to build up the 16 bar pressure. It's working perfect. See www.handpresso.com for details.
Everytime you use it, somewhere in a bar in Italy an Espresso dies.

How to make a mess in your new Audi with Handpresso Auto
It's not a big problem even on my first generation Handpresso Auto. It's only water that comes out. They have updated the product. It's more quiet and the water spray problem you comment is solved. They show me that on IFA exhibition in Berlin I'm visit in September 2012.

The Machine comes with a girlfriend on the passanger seat who will make two awesome espressi during the ride and handle the dripping

Ce bidule coute cher, il faut l'entretenir, c'est long, bruyant... Ou le mieux, on se prépare un petit thermo et on n'en parle plus ;)

If you read my other answers you can see that they already have improved the Handpresso Auto. The noise is lower today. Even on mine is not a big problem. It realy works.
Thank's. I was at the IFA exhibition in Berlin a few weeks ago and they have already improved the Handpresso Auto. The noise was noticeable lower on the latest production.

you what would be better. a manual pump, it wouldn't make any noise and you could get the pressure faster. the 12v dc would only heat the water

80cent shot of Nesspreso, I had it for a year,and when i did some math I dicaded to buy big espresso machine and use Lavazza Creama bean coffe,at the end you save money and get A1 quality espresso shot

To the normal Handpresso you can choose a model with refillable pods. Not in the Handpresso Auto. But I prefer the the normal E.S.E pods that is ready for use and packed in a controlled atmosphere with a storage time of appr. 2 year. I can always have a couple of pods in my car.

yes true, My first one worked fine for almost 3 months. But then there was smoke... but handpresso france has replaced it perfectly garanty and now this one is way more easy listening in the morning. Once tried you will never want to miss it ;) handpresso in the field, and car version in the morning :) Woohoooo

Sorry for very late answer. If you read my text, you can see that they updated Handpresso Auto just a few months after I purchased and the updated version are more quiet.
Is the pumping noise it makes the first part of the video pretty loud is it worth the buy?

Makes me wonder what demographic or market would buy this. (Other than me).
The Australians tend to take coffee when they camp in the bush. Also good for people who are trying to stay caffeinated on long road trips.
depend where u live , in thailand there are 7/eleven almost everywhere open 24/24 h , 7 days , even in oil station

Wondering of the pump noise before heating up... Is it delicious?
If you read my comments, you can see that Handpresso Auto have less noise today. They improved that only a few months after I got mine.
Karl-Magnus Eriksson I read your comments and I was not asking about the noise level. I am just wondering about the sequence: 1st pump 2nd heat 3rd coffee. I guess it should heat up BEFORE making pressure with the pump. But most important question: is it delicious???
Sorry. It's start heating and pump at the same time but heating takes longer time when you don't have more than 120 W in the car to produce the heat. So second Espresso going faster. The taste depends more of what coffee you use. It's taste better than on some coffee shops ☺. But bad coffee pods gives bad coffee.

I have never tried. The first cup takes the time you see in the video but the following going faster when all material have been heated.

Sorry for very late answer. There is a couple of small round windows at the the top. When you fill up with water they turn black one by one and when the last one is black it's full. Works very well.
Not recommended if you don't have a passenger that can make the coffee.

then you realize they have espresso machines that start off timers so the coffee is made before you open your eyes ^_^
monkeybonez m Ground coffee loses it's flavor within about 15 minutes, the finer the faster. To get good coffee, wake up earlier, grind it fresh.
