The cute little paint-pots and spray bombs you see are likewise expensive, especially as import commodities. Nice little touches like those tiny bolt heads that came out of a jar (!) may be mega-expensive, depending on where they came from. Tools like nippers, razors, and drill sets can be had at any hobby store, however, when added all up, along with paint brushes, deluxe-quality sanding pads, and, of course, the ubiquitous airbrush we never really see, all add up to a handsome chunk of spare change. My assumption is some of this may be offset by the monetization of this channel... that would then necessarily include the cost of equipment (computers, cameras, lights, etc.) required to make these videos; realistically, this channel is only 2 years old, and even a generous accounting of its income suggests this poster shouldn't quite give up their day job. That said, the UA-camr builds almost exclusively 1/12 scale motorcycles, so they may have realized that sticking to this limited realm of hobby pursuit is cheaper in the long run. Cheers.
