if he played xenoblade I’d literally tune in for every stream. I honestly think it might be up his alley based on the games he’s been playing on stream lately
Not sure if it's covered in the video but the full version of the song isn't released yet, just stating for the information ofc, the song still goes hard
Wow I wasn't expecting XC3 before release, but it's nice to see Xenoblade back ! Battle! from Torna the Golden Country was composed by the same person, Kenji Hiramatsu. As far as I know, most of the battle track you've reacted to have been his, although i'm unsure for Mechanical Rythm because at the time of XC1, ACE+ was ACE (Tomori Kudo and CHiCO) + Kenji Hiramatsu. From XC2 onwards Kenji Hiramatsu is credited on his own. Maybe someone knows ! Oh and I'm sure I'm not gonna be the only one to tell you this but it's very likely not the full song, most battle themes are a full 4min loop but I guess it'll be an oportunity to request the full one later :D (from your not-yet favorite serial xeno requester)
You Will Know Our Names, among some other music from Xenoblade 1 was also confirmed to have been composed by him, so that's another banger to add to his pedigree! (Official source is the official japanese website for Xenoblade 2's soundtrack)
The song was probably suggested prematurely as the full version hasn't been released yet, only a sample. Either way I'm PUMPED to play the full thing at the end of the month and hear all the tracks.
It's a shinobue flute. There was a recent interview with some of the senior developers where they said they made their own flutes in order to make the sound more unique.
yeah the fact that they made custom, unique flutes so that the sounds would stand out is such an awesome touch that really shows how dedicated the music team as a whole is. The fact that they're larger than standard flutes and have a lower register pitch really helps with their inclusion across the entire score. It's absolutely wild.
fun fact, the "Flute" in said songs is actually custom made for the game since flutes are a big part of the music and they wanted their own sound instead
Out of the currently known XC3 songs, this one is probably my least favorite, but yet still a great song. I hope to come across more Xenoblade (1/2/3/X) music on your channel!
The game's release is in less than 3 weeks, I can't believe it. Then we will get to hear the full versions of these songs and plenty more! XC fans eating good, thanks to Monolith Soft :)
5:46 keves is the name from one of the nations in this game ( the other nation being agnus), so this is probably just the battle theme we will listen when fighting soldiers from keves.
From the footage I've seen so far, it looks more like it'll play in keves territories. In one of the recent gameplay reveals, it plays when pulling a bunnit lol
For the first time ever, this will be my first time hearing a song on your channel along with you. Every other time it's been a track ive head before. ^puts on headphones.
Now I want to see your reaction to the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Future Connected Battle theme. Because that song feels like the precursor of this.
Something I think is extremely cool is how this theme uses all previous musical motifs from the previous Xenoblade games, violins for XC1, Guitar for XC2, jazz from torna and the flutes from future connected which is now the main motif of XC3 as a whole
Is actually a regular combat music XD Also those are flutes, but not normal flutes. The flutes were created based on the concept art designs, so they don't sound exactly like regular flutes, those are one (actually two) of a kind. They record those songs with unique flutes that were created based off designs from people whom doesn't have necessarily an expert knowledge of musical instrument, so that's very special.
Fun thing about this one is that if you're familiar with other battle themes from the series this one has a lot of allusions to those. For example there's a piece right around here 1:57 (it's the strings) that is taken straight from Battle! Torna.
It is incredible what they left out of the prerelease version of this song. It sounds like a full song, but instead of looping from that point, it picks up and gets even better. And the fact that it's just a regular battle theme, the first one you encounter other than in the prologue section.
Cool thing about this song that was talked about in some info vids from nintendo from later. (Nintendo sometimes has videos about upcoming game music which is cool) well first this is only like half of the song, the full versions were not up at the time (they technically were cuz ripped but shhh) but the interesting info is that for the flute parts they used unique flutes they made based on the ones the characters use in game. And since depending on how they're built they can have different sounds it ends up with a nice story and unique circumstance for it.
This theme or the game in generell uses flutes a lot and this has something to do with the story because the main 2 main characters use flutes to send the souls of the dead off and the developers have created a new kind of flute extra for this game
I'm pretty sure that's just a flute haha, just with a like, very thin tone. flutes are vital to the third game so they're probably gonna feature a lot on the soundtrack
Gosh I would pay to watch Jesse play the Xenoblade Series.
Same
if he played xenoblade I’d literally tune in for every stream. I honestly think it might be up his alley based on the games he’s been playing on stream lately
Right
AGREE
I would pay good money to watch this man play the games and put all the songs into context.
Not sure if it's covered in the video but the full version of the song isn't released yet, just stating for the information ofc, the song still goes hard
Given the length of battle themes, this is only like a third of the full song
@@GeebzGBZ even less, most xenoblade battle songs are fully 7-8 minutes
@@kaz7886 dunno what tracks you listening to but most battle themes are around 2-4 minutes long
@@alanvasquez6923 Not xenoblade ones.
@@alanvasquez6923 Btw yeah, i am exaggerating. Most are 3-4 minutes. But there are some that are 6-8 minutes long.
Strange to see a Xenoblade 3 song before it’s even out, but I’m all here for it!
For once WE don't know the context either

Mechanical Rythm was indeed confirmed to be composed by Hiramatsu a few years ago!

Ryūteki or the "dragon flute" is a very important part of both the music and the worldbuilding of Xenoblade 3.
Keves is like seven because it’s pronounced like KEH VEHS
Keves would be pronounced Keh-Vehs

If this is just a taste, just imagine the full version.
Tis a flute, XC3 soundtrack has a lot of flutes for story reasons
Damn, I'd kill for a stream of XC1. The musical reactions would be godlike
Flutes are an integral part of Xenoblade 3 so it likely is that lol
Out of the currently known XC3 songs, this one is probably my least favorite, but yet still a great song. I hope to come across more Xenoblade (1/2/3/X) music on your channel!
Keep in mind that it's not the full song just a sample for the promotion of the game
god -imagining a battle moebius m (first and second phase) reaction now
My dude please do Battle vs Morbius. It’s beyond brilliant for a first “real” boss song.
After that he needs to do Battle vs Consul M to really hammer home the difference
This song goes crazy, so excited for xenoblade 3’s ost
Its a $60 ost with a free game attached
cool idea to react to a song from an upcoming game, it must be very exciting for you even if you havent played any of the games lol
You have to listen to Vs. Moebius, it’s the definition of hype
I hope people wil request to you music from Xeno 3, because man.
*MAAAAAAAAAN THATS GOOOOOD*

Wait unreleased video game music is on the table flip I need to request in hell we live lament

Oh this is my most anticipated game this year.
It looks like its gonna be my GOTY too
Oh absolutely. Just preordered it and I can't wait!
i havent listened any song from xenoblade 3 to avoid spoilers, but i have to listen this with you because i like your videos
Looking forward to watching this once I've actually played Xenoblade 3. I'm trying to go in as spoiler-free as possible.
I literally can’t wait until he reacts to The weight of life Peak xenoblade track
Waiting patiently for my requests 😔
(Just goofing btw I know he must have a ton of requests backed up from probably like early June or something)
so to explain it if you see this, Keves being pronounced like Seven is that Seven is essentialy Seh-Vehn and Keves is essentially Keh-Vehs
M E A T I E R
Xenoblade always kills it with the music..
Is actually a regular combat music XD

I think the song you didn't remember of which is similar to this one is the battle theme from Torna the Golden Country (the Xenoblade 2 DLC).
Fun thing about this one is that if you're familiar with other battle themes from the series this one has a lot of allusions to those. For example there's a piece right around here 1:57 (it's the strings) that is taken straight from Battle! Torna.
I want him to hear the full version so bad 😫
Now you have to listen to the full version when it releases online
ofc
@@JessesAuditorium aaaand, it's here now, 6 min of happiness
Am still surprised no one sent him the battle theme from future connected lol

I here hurt that the great soundtrack is playing has not won at the Games Awards 😔
If Pokemon Colosseum/XD:GoD ever got a sequel this sounds like what the music would be...
Bro now we gotta have a reaction if that snippet from You Will Know Our Names - Finale! Jk ;) love the analysis mate and good vids

Just react to all Xenoblade Chronicle 3 songs, they are all bangers no exceptions.
Nice
Did you notice that every 15 seconds a different instrument plays for the melody

Bro I wanna see someone react to the flute them of XBC 3, shit made me cry.
Might want to do a revisit when the game comes out
5:20 bro jinxed himself😂
