These riders don't have the best equitation.

      1. I would like to see you do it
      2. it's actually not bad
      3. showjumping is harder then equitation and it doesnt matter as long as the horse and rider get over the jump

Equitation DOES matter. Riding is BASED on equitation. If you don't have good equitation then it basically screws up the whole riding process. I never said show jumping wasn't harder I simply said they don't have the best equitation. Part of getting over the jump involves good equitation. It's possible to have good equitation in show jumping. Want to know why Americans have good equitation in the jumper ring? Because A LOT of them were equitation winners as kids which adds to why they win so much.

Ummm let me say something again. Their eq is great! And if American equitation riders are so good why arn't there any riding in this??

Nash look at other Grand Prixs. You see plenty of Americans competing. We have 4 riders in the top 20 world rankings. That's our whole damn team. These riders can improve their equitation. To be honest we all can. These riders let their legs slide back over jumps. (They need to keep their legs still) and I some of them need to tuck their elbows in. Some either get to far up their horse's neck and others aren't getting far enough up their horse's neck. Both being bad habits.
