This is easily one of my favorite xtra videos from XG. Seeing how this masterpiece of a song came together is fascinating. I absolutely adore these girls they are just so talented ❤🔥🐺 The reason I find XG so different from any other group out there is all 7 of the girls are SO uniquely different from each other & talented & charismatic in their own special way & they come together to form this perfect super group XG.
Hi Linda im sure you saw already but the first introduction video to the XG documentary series was uploaded last night that everyone has been waiting for "XG Documentary Series ‘XTRA XTRA’ #0" And damn you can already tell...the series is going to be RAW, emotional and a just a wild ride for sure. You would probably never see the big 3 kpop companies do something this raw. I give Simon/XG/XGALX mad props for putting themselves out there like this for the world to see their true story in this way.

I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. Don’t sleep on Hinata. You noticed she had the shortest footage and wire only one wardrobe. Maya and Chisa wants to do more, perfectionist. They all sound great and they know how and want to sound in the record. Simon is an awesome producer, manager and CEO. He listens to them and guides them. A lot of respect to him and his crew. Can’t wait for the next chapter

Omg Chisa looks so good in that red hoodie 💕(bias)🙂they all look gorgeous but they sound amazing ,I love them a little more each time I watch them,they have such a positive energy.
Being able to watch recording sessions in the sound booth is fascinating. Simon being completely involved in every aspect of production is a testament to how much he is invested in his brainchild. Watching the genesis of Shooting Star, from the early days in 2019 Atlanta, where it was just a track with beats, short melody, no lyrics, just ideas being formed. Simon working with writers, trying to bring life to this song. Nearly 4 years in the making is astonishing. And that it sounds so current despite the long gestation period. Music trends can change in a moment but this is fresh and is just a perfect comeback that has elevated XG to levels I didn't think possible. Hinata becoming a part of the vocal line is so satisfying. I can't imagine just what songs, dances and raps Simon has the members working on. They have to be working on their stage performances at the upcoming concerts especially KCON. I'm thinking we're going to be blown away with what they are going to present on the stage.
My favorite thing about this video is you just see in everyone's reaction when they nailed the take that got used in the final track. Everyone just lights up and looks at each other and you just know they got it, especially on Jurin's second round!
Loved that clip of Jurin doing some kitty belly drumming lol Chisa said in a recent interview that Jurin really loved cats and would always watch cat videos (which is like me tbh 😹) What's great about watching their recording sessions is that not only do they all sound fantastic, but the way they voiced their opinions and, like in Maya's case, strove for perfection, makes you admire and respect them even more. And I'm really glad they have a producer who values their input, while also praising them and giving useful critiques. They really are a dream team!

Re-watching this after seeing XTRA XTRA EP.3 - Maya, Juria and Chisa became so professionals and such perfectionists with their parts.
It all unfolds now, how these young women became so obsessed with their crafts at a very young age. Don't get me wrong even those who didn't made the cut are talented, but girls who can sing and dance are dime a dozen - that's not the goal. The goal is to became a multi talented artists who can do everything, a DREAM TEAM.
