'One day all of us will work' The Very Thing, Raintown,1987. Not having to work is great for anyone who can achieve it but the question was not answered by Ricky Ross. The fans are paying ticket prices that are too high for anniversary tours for a reasonably successful band. There's no conversion at a Deacon Blue gig as it is mostly the same fans dutifully going through the doors for every anniversary tour. Either put the prices down or retire. The first two albums are excellent but most of the rest since 1989 has been average.
