what's crazy is that the einstein bar had a double meaning. yeah, he IS calling himself a genius of rap, but the really awesome part is how he ties 'no emcee (MC) equal' into it. Einstein's theory of relativity is e = mc squared. just unbelievable. one of the greatest bars I've heard on a track EVER.

You realize what is not "real" to you like hood life can be real to others. People rap about their surroundings, experiences, and childhood and some of these guys grew up seeing all of these things like people shooting eachother. But one of the biggest claims about Cole is that his music is "boring," and I've noticed that people who say that would, in a lot of cases, prefer to promote artists that glamorize ideas that hold us back as a people. I would never say that rappers like Pac and Big aren't some of the best to ever do it, because that's not even a question. But it's important to recognize that rappers are HIGHLY influential and by allowing young children to see drugs and violence attached to fame and success, we are, in essence, perpetuating ignorance and delaying our come-up as a whole.
