    Great video - whats the ideal depth to look for in an oval diamond?

    • @VanessaNicoleJewels
      @VanessaNicoleJewels  3 роки тому

      It really varies - so much of what makes an Oval diamond beautiful can only be seen in person to the eye rather than percentages and measurements on paper.

    Is there a depth percentage and girdle size you would recommend (as a guide)?

    I have a square diamond that I love. NO idea that oval is more a trend now

      Yes, it's super popular. But I love making rings of ALL shapes :)

    What measurements should I be looking for for a perfect 1.5 carat oval diamond? I want it to look bigger facing up, not sure what measurements to look for in the girdle size either! I’m super picky and have been looking for weeks on end I just don’t want to make any mistakes!

    • @VanessaNicoleJewels
      @VanessaNicoleJewels  Рік тому

      Hi there, I totally understand being picky when it comes to diamonds - Me too! :) I can't provide measurements for a "perfect" 1.50ct oval because there are too many variables. We have a highly curated diamond selection process which is more nuanced than what a paper grade provides. So much of it comes down to how it looks visually and how well it's cut.
      Kindly,
      Vanessa

    Your information is by far the best , I’m actually very interested in creating pieces any tips on where to buy 3D files for rings?

    • @VanessaNicoleJewels
      @VanessaNicoleJewels  2 роки тому

      Thank you, Alvin! I sure do appreciate that. I don't know where you can buy 3D files because we create all of our own files for our custom rings. Sorry I can't be of more help with that - All the best to you! 😀

      Thank you for watching! I'll add Asschers to my list of videos to make. We rarely get requests for that shape, so I don't have many videos about them :)

    What’s a good face up size for 2ct ovals?

    • @VanessaNicoleJewels
      @VanessaNicoleJewels  2 роки тому

      It varies so much when it comes to any shape other than a round shape. Ratio, girdle thickness, faceting, etc all come into play.
