I'm on episode 5 of the amazing documentary on Jordan, The Last Dance, yet I can't deny feeling bitter with the complete omission of Jam or Michael Jackson, which shows you how they are slowly erasing MJ from the narrative in popular culture. I'm on episode 5 of the amazing documentary on Jordan, The Last Dance, yet I can't deny feeling bitter with the complete omission of Jam or Michael Jackson, which shows you how they are slowly erasing MJ from the narrative in popular culture. Jam video was a big event. the song was literally the 1992 anthem of the Chicago Bulls and MJ was the only celebrity to ever make Jordan nervous when he met him. All of the greats like Mike Tyson, Notorious B.I.G, etc say the same because they grew up on MJ from ABC to his adult supernova rise via Thriller he was Black Superman.
It was made by ESPN Films and aired on ESPN, both of which are owned by Disney. Disney is a major player in the effort to destroy MJ. Remember Disney bought Fox, which airs "The Simpsons". "The Simpsons" producers gave media interviews right after "Leaving Neverland" aired saying they were banning their MJ episode. They claimed that after watching LN they now strongly believed MJ used their show as a grooming tool 🙄 When Disney+ launched, all the episodes of "The Simpsons" were available expect one. The MJ episode. It's a damn shame that I haven't heard of Simpsons fans (those that are still left in 2020, that show has been crap for 20 years now), protesting this. Oh well, "The Simpsons" have only signed their death warrant with that move. Plus it's gives MJ and his episode a cool factor it never had before with it being banned.
