Im around 65, have this music channel which is struggling, created another new channel for content creation beginners. Yesterday i came across some useful information from another content creator that after creating a channel, youtube has to determine first that the channel is run by a human not a bot (program). So its essential to wait a bit but use the channel to interact to give youtube the indicator you are human.

I listened to her and I stopped getting views on my channel, when she said change the name of your channel so I did that and my channel started moving slow. I was fired from my job when I found her., so I’m glad I didn’t quit my job. I am over 50.
There are two options, follow dough dash at your own risk or put in the time to understand youtube before joining. If you have a job, great. Study youtube while keeping your 9 to 5. When you have established yourself on youtube and earning an income, move over. Dough dash is inspiring but also misleading. Its the misleading which is more important than the inspiring because the inspiring leads you to be misled.
UA-cam does require some sort of training to be good or at least interesting. I don’t think talking about leaving a reliable income to do something you’re not trained to do like you are on a job is a good idea. Do UA-cam while you’re working a job and learn how to perform in front of a camera on your off time.

What happens when you get to retirement age and there is nothing for you. Unless you are talking about opening a business being successful with that. However most business fail shortly after it is started. Best new quick way is maybe crypto. Be the ant, not the grasshopper. That instant gratification though will not work out.
