One of the reasons I love this song so much is the layers in the music! As each character comes to, they add an element to the music that gives it their own flair and makes the whole song so perfect! It starts with just a pair of guitars when Twilight is singing (fundamental and versatile). Fluttershy adds a bass and acoustic percussion (natural and steady/consistent). Rainbow adds the synthesizer and drumset (exciting and energetic). Rarity adds the orchestra (dramatic and elegant). AJ derails the whole thing with her signature banjo (simple country vibes), which creates a slight break in energy. And Pinkie brings the energy back to 11 with the choir of town ponies (extroverted and full of energy) for a truly climactic ending that is so fitting for such a climactic episode. Heck, this song is just so good!
