it really is so different than the original version. My Husband and I played it from release for about 5 years, then had kids, etc. We find Retail so very different that I needed this tutorial to play because there were so many things we could not figure out. We find we really prefer Classic because we don' t like being railroaded.
Think about every life you squandered. They had a family and you ruined it for them. You are a terrible person and don't deserve happiness through video games. Pick occupations that don't kill people.
The moment i saw the length of the video and the time stamps, i liked, subscribed, commented, and now will watch the entire thing. Gotta support that effort somehow.
Also it's exactly what a new player needs which is why I'm here. Gonna link this to a new friend I met. I'm a veteran, she's not and I neeed to do my weekly chores with limited game time. Thanks a ton Quazi! This is priceless information for them. Timestamps are golden too
This is an exceptional beginner's guide. You cover major game systems in a way that assumes the viewer has zero knowledge. Most experienced WoW creator-players assume that the viewer knows more than they necessary may.
This is probably one of the best introductory guides to WoW ever. No fluff, no obnoxious editing, just simple and to the point. I've been playing on and off since 2019, and now I'm ready to really dig into this game. This guide has clarified and confirmed so much knowledge I've had to find for myself all on my own, completely in the dark. Sir, you deserve an award! For what ever it may be worth to you, you have my absolute thanks!! EZ Sub and EZ like!
As a former Top 25 U.S. Wow Raider (Blood DK) who hasn’t played since Mists of Pandaria… this has convinced me to play again! I remember everything you have talked about, it was truly riveting to follow along. Well done, great comprehensive guide.
It’s kinda crazy that it’s a two hour tutorial for the basics of a 20 year old game. At the same time I have found that shorter ones leave me asking questions haha.
I haven't played WOW since I was 13 and it first came out. It was one of my favorite ways to pass time. However I was sharing an account with my brother and he thought it would be funny to steal all my gold and belongings and leave my charter nude and broke. I ended up quitting after that. It wasn't until I realized WOW was still a thing 20 years later so I decided to get an account of my own. Now that I'm all grown up. I'm trying to remember what to do! I've missed so much. It was all overwhelming at first but this guide really helped. Thank you!
just a quick note on druid, when performing your role you will be spending time shapeshifted in to an animal form (except healer) melee - "cat" tank - "bear" ranged dps "moonkin" a bi pedal owl looking creature. the races have different variations on the base form. and druid gets a aquatic form for faster swim speed, and travel form and flight form both are alternatives to mounts and flying mounts. something to keep in mind, so you dont get disappointed that you have to be in an animal form most of the time while playing (the character costumazation affects the look of the animals (colors, patters ect.), don't know to what extent now days tho, since i completed all the mage tower challenges, but i think they added if not all at least some version of the special forms you earned from beating that challenge back in the day)
Earlier today I was watching a beginners’ guide and thought it was comprehensive, until I came across this 😂 Probably the most complete beginners guide with detailed explanations and information. Subscribed, thank you!
Watched/Listened 5 times so far. It's basically ASMR at this point 😂. Seriously though. Recent convert from ESO, this is hands down the best guide I have ever seen for any game. Informative, easy to understand, flow, I mean it's all there. Bravo sir. Bravo.
I went from pessimistic and sad about wow being too overwhelming for me (as a complete noob beginner) to optimistic and engaged again! «I can still do this!» Thank you so much for a detailed and easily understandable guided video!
All around very useful video for hopping into playing WoW for the first time. I've played lots of MMOs over the years so coming into this wasn't as overwhelming with having a lot built up intuitions, but learning specific key phrases like "DOT" for damage over time or nuance mechanics like strafing and movement and key bindings for this game was very helpful. Thank you for putting the time to make this updated guide. Even though the game is 20 years old there's still players like me who've never touched this before and wanted a good summary of everything to start off with wiring in beneficial muscle memory
I started wow last year and keep coming back to it but overall I found it so overwhelming as a new player. this video is AWESOME and helped fill in the gaps of knowledge that I lacked and makes me excited to play some more. so glad I found your channel. thanks!
Thanks for this. There are alot of "how on earth was I supposed to know that?" moments when you're a new player and this guide helps. While i can understand how difficult it would be to make a comprehensive, elaborate guide for a game as enormously complex as WoW, it's really necessary because there's such an outrageous barrier for new players who are just expected to know how things work.
ive just started wow and im so lost, this helped a lot thank you bro! there's not a lot of guides for completely new players, they all assume you already know most things. great video bro !
Thank you so much for this video! I haven't played WoW since I was like 10-12 and I'm 23 now. This was so thorough and detailed, and I can now say I am caught up on all the changes! You're awesome.
Seeing my eldest cousin playing, I wanted play it, till I started playing in 2021 in the expansion BfA and i’m enjoying it to the max. And this video has been super helpful in order to learn more ! Thank you !
Thank you for the video. Came back after an extremely long hiatus. I started Thanksgiving 2004 and played for a couple years, but work took me away. So much has changed. Extremely helpful video!
This is exactly what i been looking for, i have had fun jumping around classic and retail (still haven't touched wotlk) but always hated asking these simple question that other players dont really answer. Thank you!
For a while now you've been my go to channel to learn a dungeon when a season is new, to learn a new strat for an especially hard pull. You make killer guides, as everyone knows. Now, my wife is starting wow with me today. I am so glad I ran into this :D
I've been playing WoW since Beta and this is a really phenomenal guide. You covered so much. One thing that sometimes confuses new players that I didn't notice you covering... you can't access some of the races when you first start playing. You will need to have leveled a character to 40 to access Races that are not able to be chosen when you first start the game. Also, you touched on character height a bit, but I'd also mention that short characters such as goblins and gnomes often end up under water in some areas where other characters can just walk through without swimming. It's not a game breaker, but it is an extra annoyance.
I've always wanted to play this game but intimidated by it because I thought I'm way behind other players who've been playing for over a decade. I'm halfway through this tutorial and now I'm going to start playing! Thank you!
Thanks gor the video. Watched a few other "ultimate beginners guides" that were like 15-20 minutes long and just didn't fill me with the info I needed. Yours did. Liked and subbed :)
Thank you so much for putting this guide together. I’ve been playing wow off and on for several years because I would get to a certain point in the game and get stuck. Other guides never explained the key binding and the best way to move in the game. I adjusted the key binding settings as you suggested and it’s so much easier for me to move and use spells and such.
I left it to this video to convince me to play WoW... And that exactly what happened! This video is perfectly executed and I watched the whole thing. I now know who will be guiding me through WoW! Thanks Quazii !!
this is THE BEST GUIDE. i needed this so bad thank you for all the time & effort you spent on creating this! i cannot even tell you how helpful this is. thank you
Thank you so much for the detail. I'm 32 and always had friends play but just never decided to jump in. I've played HOTS and Hearthstone since release and I grew to love the lore of Warcraft through those games even to where I watched LOTS of lore videos even though I didn't play Warcraft. But now I finally decided to play with some co-workers and your guide has helped me a TON! From editing your settings, UI details and how to best utilize your time it was a massive help. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into this, I promise it is much appreciated by a newcomer like me.
This is an EPIC WOW tutorial! I am 48 min in and have learned thisng that I didn't know existed! I returned to playing WOW after a 15 year hiatus and needed a refresher and updates about what has changed since classic wow and this so far explains it all!! Do you also have a Dragon Flight tutorial? I am failing at learning how to control my dragon inflight just as I thought I had it figured out something changed when I hit level 70 in Panderia Remix and now I can barely lift off the ground? I'm a lost NOOB. LOL!
I started play WoW again 4 weeks ago after played WoW "classic" almost 20 years ago... This guide learned me a lot and i will take many tips with me while playing in the future!!! Thanks a lot for this. Instant sub from me!!!
I kind of disagree on the choice of Exiles Reach. Personally I think the normal starting zones are better and a bit slower pace for a new player. Exiles Reach throws a bit much at you, trying to show you everything of the game, and it will then send you off to Battle for Azeroth, which is just confusing. I think the experience of leveling through the original world is a much better introduction to the game.
The game should do a better job of defaulting that experience. In FF14 you are forced to go slow. From 1-100 through all expansions in order. WoW could do a better job focusing on all essential content as well.
Oh man im new to pc and this game I hope I didn’t mess up not going the slow route I just made it to level 10 and my next mission is to que up for a dungeon
What an absolutely brilliant video. A fantastic resource for beginners for sure. Breaking down every system like this, across both retail and classic is a massive undertaking. I can tell you REALLY love WoW. Thanks for putting this together !
Signed up to WoW yesterday as a completely new player. It’s something I have always wanted to play purely for it’s story and world building, but always been overwhelmed by the amount of… well… everything! But just found this video and looking forward to watching it before getting stuck into it! It’s getting such good comments from everyone. So thank you in advance
I started playing WOW a year ago. I wish I had seen your video before. The detail and scope help to illuminate so many areas. It is an invaluable resource. For my next character, I am going to use this video to ensure I can get all those details straight. Thank you again for your kind sharing of knowledge and extensive experience.
I get into the game casually every several months and I’m always overwhelmed, but it’s cool to check in and see what’s going on, as well as see quality content for beginners being made. Props for what looks like a comprehensive guide here!
I just started a few days ago and thank you so much for this amazing guide i have been searching for hours trying to find something that tells me everything i need to know, without being overwhelming and your video is perfect, thank yous
Been a Wow gamer circa 2007 to now… I’m from Australia so i play in the Oceana server. I love Wow I play for a few months and then i will have a break then come back.. i tend to chill at home now most days as I work 5 days a week so i just relax and play PvP and do achievements and farm mounts.. I am totally watching this video haha i might learn something new 😊 Dreadmaul / Belf / Horde - Rogue & Mage Level 70 toon currently.. Most fun memory was being part of a Singaporean Guild name “Mint” that was fun and made friends with some of the guildies.
Just as a sidenote if you are starting on retail, the massive drawbacks of reviving at the graveyard after dying (the debuff) are now limited to just 60 seconds, so it's really no big deal if you don't wanna run back to your body. Your gear still takes a beating though, so if you're broke maybe it would be better to run back. On lower levels repairs are cheap however. Still, keep this in mind for when you die while at max level.
I watched from the start, i knew all those things already so i had to by pass some points.. i must say this is defo a comprehensive guide.. any new Wow players would for sure benefit from this. Good Job Quazi
Hi there, I am a 14 main player, but wanted to learn about WoW and get an understanding about all the things/debates going on. So I am now starting to play WoW on the side, which is the only way of actually understand, what people are talking about. I started playing Retail WoW and so fare I like it, and enjoy it so, who know´s, where all this will end xD. For now I am taking it very slow by questing, and really not going in the direction of - I have to do this now, just slow without any stress xD. Your video are very, very, very good. I may have to return to it from time to time, as an two hour video is very hard to remember at my age haha. Congrats on your 100k+ followers and a very well done video. Thank You
I dont fucking know how can people dislike such a wholesome video you put ur time on for other people to enjoy and learn step by step. Im trying to make my gf play wow, and im stressed she wont like the game, i would like to share this game with her because i cant play it alone, im bored too quickly. This video might help me a lot. Thanks in advance
thank you so so much!!! i've wanted to get into WoW for ages but it always overwhelmed me with how much stuff one has to learn and get acclimated to. i'm so happy i found this video because you did a really great job of conveying all the info in an understandable way.
Dude thank you so much I’m a 32 year old dad who just got into MMO/RPG never had a gaming pc I was a Xbox Andy and wow was sooo intense for me this helped me get start the download 😅
Freaking love this video! I played WOW Classic for the 1st time a few years ago, and i was looking to start a new game, but I forgot everything 😅 You just got me super excited to get started! 🙌🏾
I'm thinking about coming back to the game after a long absence (I think Battle for Azeroth was my last xpac). I haven't watched your whole video yet, but it looks very thorough, especially for true newbies. Thanks for your effort!
I peaked in BC and came back in BFA a little, tried shadowlands but didn’t get into it. I have been trying to play dragon flight and feel very disconnected. Your videos have been a great starting point. Thank you.
Of course! I learned about setting up and unbinding/binding some keys and camera views that I never knew about haha. So obvious. I’m also a clicker in game, and I don’t actually know how to memorize my keys haha. Definitely felt like a noob re-learning. I also appreciate breaking the sections all apart in the editing. I’m sure a lot of work went into it. Hope you get to your goal subscribers!
this is brilliant. I feel like I might have played WoW a long time ago if i had something like this available (my first mmo was FF14, because I knew how Final Fantasy games worked, even though I had no idea how to play an MMO. 😅 So it felt less intimidating to try at the time). I'll be linking this for any friends that are thinking about it. Also there's plenty in here for me too, I've only played super casually for a year or two, no idea what I'm doing except what I've stumbled across by accident lmao.
A very clear and well thought out guide. I am a complete newb to WoW but I do have several hundred hours of Skyrim play time. I found this video highly effective at compressing lots of detailed information into a reasonable length tutorial, its such a fascinating world and gameplay!
Been playing since 2012 but still watched the whole thing, i dont know why but i just enjoy watching this guy. I really respect the time you put into these videos. This is a extraordinary video for new wow-players, keep up the great content.
i played for a very long time getting curve and ksm every season since season one of SL and i still watched the whole thing :D good guide as allways keep up the good work
Good summary mate. The boundaries of entry can be overwhelming for a game with so much history. It is fascinating to me how the game has changed overtime to accommodate players. Most of us are now adults with jobs and families. You don't need as much time anymore to enjoy this truly awesome game. Noobs unite!!
Mate your work has helped my take my game to a new level. I joined a guild after running some successful keys for them. Started talking about you and they were all like. Yea na we know him. Your vids are all linked in there discord channels. Haha. Your sir are a legend.
Just started WoW July 2024 and ive tried to watch a lot of starter videos and this is the exact video i needed and where everyone should start. Thank you so much for this!!!
I'm new to the whole franchise. Haven't really started yet, just wanted to do a little research before sinking a monthly subscription. BTW, I didn't know Donny Yen played WoW, lol.
I have recently found you but I have been around since classic (in and out of play) We need to blow you up more, your information you have available is absurd, I mean that in the HIGEST form of compliment. WOW, thank you for what you do!
This is sensational, really appreciate the time and effort you put into this! Downloading the free trial now and I think this will be my new Destiny 2!
Great video as always! Dont know if it was mentioned, but the hest thing anyone can do for playing mmos is just drop the 70$ and get an mmo mouse with 12 buttons on the side. Your life will be so much easier.
Hey love this and I liked and subscribed. I am a returning player and I'm so happy to see you have a pally tank. I was always a tank in the past. Do you have a video that shows your methods/ guide to tanking?

Congratulations on 100k!
My main fear of getting into an MMO is not having anyone to play with. But I just started playing wow yesterday and im loving it.
This has been the story of my life.
Returning player here, and none of my friends play anymore. This is how my WoW experience has been so far.
@@christiancabucos7056is there other people that play?
you have to play whats popular and meet people there, i would start with classic and meet people there
All my friends moved to realm reborn
I started playing this 20 years ago when it first came out. Then deployed to Iraq and quit and haven’t played since. Now I’m coming back!
Have fun bro
why do you people always feel the need to let us know that you were in the military? cool, you took part in an illegal invasion.
Pathetic human who doesn't value human life. You should never be in a situation that makes you kill other people.
it really is so different than the original version. I just started today and this guide was great. Grew up watching my dad play and now we are playing together getting ready for the new expansion
How much prize 80 level world of warcraft?
The moment i saw the length of the video and the time stamps, i liked, subscribed, commented, and now will watch the entire thing. Gotta support that effort somehow.

Great point, I’ll do the same!

A fellow Tichondrius player.
Back in 2004-2008 a common war shout was "Tich is not 4 you!" Pvp was intense back then.
Trying to play wow for the first time. This video is the only beginners guide video. Totally make senses and will show u a lot.
How did you experience it?
As a former Top 25 U.S. Wow Raider (Blood DK) who hasn’t played since Mists of Pandaria… this has convinced me to play again! I remember everything you have talked about, it was truly riveting to follow along. Well done, great comprehensive guide.

If you've ever read Newcomer Chat you'll know that the game desperately needs an official guide of this caliber. Good one Quazii
Started playing WoW yesterday for the first time. Thank You for this video 🙏👌

Wow! I've been playing for a month and have gotten my priest to Lvl 62. Wish I had found this video sooner. I learned so much. Thank you!!!
thanks for the support!
this is THE BEST GUIDE. i needed this so bad thank you for all the time & effort you spent on creating this! i cannot even tell you how helpful this is. thank you
I just started playing like 2 weeks ago, it is soooo much to figure out, can't wait to watch this.
fantastic video for someone literally starting WoW like myself, you have earned a like and a sub.

Dude this is exactly me. 30, played HotS and HS competitively, and now that I'm old and washed, I'm ready for the wonderful world of WoW :p

I am coming back to the game after 6 years and man this video is a life saver
Glad you love it
I'm starting retail WoW for the first time this weekend. I've played Runescape for 14 years. So thankful for this entire video. Thank you!
glad you love it and welcome to azeroth!
So thank you in advance
welcome to azeroth (: im really glad i was able to help
Welcome to Azeroth
I started playing WOW a year ago. I wish I had seen your video before. The detail and scope help to illuminate so many areas. It is an invaluable resource. For my next character, I am going to use this video to ensure I can get all those details straight. Thank you again for your kind sharing of knowledge and extensive experience.
and thank you in return for the support on my video
I get into the game casually every several months and I’m always overwhelmed, but it’s cool to check in and see what’s going on, as well as see quality content for beginners being made. Props for what looks like a comprehensive guide here!
thanks for the support
I just started a few days ago and thank you so much for this amazing guide i have been searching for hours trying to find something that tells me everything i need to know, without being overwhelming and your video is perfect, thank yous
Thank you for this. Had to search through a couple other videos, but this it exactly what I was looking for.
Most fun memory was being part of a Singaporean Guild name “Mint” that was fun and made friends with some of the guildies.
in the same boat as other people, played this game for 10+ years but its nice to have such a IN DEPTH GUIDE
thanks for this man!
thank you for your support!
Still, keep this in mind for when you die while at max level.
good point (: cheers
I watched from the start, i knew all those things already so i had to by pass some points.. i must say this is defo a comprehensive guide.. any new Wow players would for sure benefit from this. Good Job Quazi
Thanks for the support 🙏
Don't skip the cinematics! Almost all are amazing, and had a lot of work put into them- and you can tell.
Best guide I have found about wow for beginners , thank you
Thanks a lot. I started playing this month and have been very confused with everything going on. This video has helped a ton
Hi there,
I am a 14 main player, but wanted to learn about WoW and get an understanding about all the things/debates going on.
Thanks in advance
thank you so so much!!! i've wanted to get into WoW for ages but it always overwhelmed me with how much stuff one has to learn and get acclimated to. i'm so happy i found this video because you did a really great job of conveying all the info in an understandable way.
glad i could help (: welcome to azeroth
Dude thank you so much I’m a 32 year old dad who just got into MMO/RPG never had a gaming pc I was a Xbox Andy and wow was sooo intense for me this helped me get start the download 😅
Welcome to Azeroth!!!
Freaking love this video! I played WOW Classic for the 1st time a few years ago, and i was looking to start a new game, but I forgot everything 😅 You just got me super excited to get started! 🙌🏾
Welcome to Azeroth!
Man you deserve Oscar for this video and explanation !
I'm thinking about coming back to the game after a long absence (I think Battle for Azeroth was my last xpac). I haven't watched your whole video yet, but it looks very thorough, especially for true newbies. Thanks for your effort!
Been playing since TBC pre-black temple patch. Still gonna watch every minute. Thanks Quazii!
I peaked in BC and came back in BFA a little, tried shadowlands but didn’t get into it. I have been trying to play dragon flight and feel very disconnected. Your videos have been a great starting point. Thank you.
thank you so very much glad you like the videos so far (: welcome back to Azeroth
The first 3 minutes alone made me want do double like this video! I can't so I'm giving you a comment instead. Great stuff.
A very clear and well thought out guide. I am a complete newb to WoW but I do have several hundred hours of Skyrim play time. I found this video highly effective at compressing lots of detailed information into a reasonable length tutorial, its such a fascinating world and gameplay!
Thank you so much for the kind words - and a warm welcome to Azeroth!
Reminds me of my New Player Guide on the wownoob subreddit, but much more detailed and Classic added! Great video.
thanks for the support!
Got my first gaming PC and starting WoW for first time ever and I'm amped lmao always wanted to play when I was kid. Now I'm 28 😂💀
welcome to Azeroth (: its a lovely place
Your video was amazing! Great information to start with
Thanks for this, very helpful even for an old returning wow player. Much appreciated.
Just getting into WOW this is by far the best guide I have seen! Respect got a sub from me thanks bro!
Been playing since 2012 but still watched the whole thing, i dont know why but i just enjoy watching this guy. I really respect the time you put into these videos. This is a extraordinary video for new wow-players, keep up the great content.

i played for a very long time getting curve and ksm every season since season one of SL and i still watched the whole thing :D
good guide as allways keep up the good work
Thanks so much for your support! Much appreciated!
Good summary mate. The boundaries of entry can be overwhelming for a game with so much history. It is fascinating to me how the game has changed overtime to accommodate players. Most of us are now adults with jobs and families. You don't need as much time anymore to enjoy this truly awesome game. Noobs unite!!
thank you so very much for the support in the past 1 year btw, happy new year
Mate your work has helped my take my game to a new level. I joined a guild after running some successful keys for them. Started talking about you and they were all like. Yea na we know him. Your vids are all linked in there discord channels. Haha. Your sir are a legend.
As a n00b this is exactly what I needed. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and not being a condescending jerk about it!!
And thank you in return for your support (: welcome to Azeroth

I played WoW cataclysm in 2011 for few months then never played again until now I'm about to start and I feel so lost hopefully this video helps
Quazil just does everything to succeed on youtube. I admire his purity.

Great video as always!
Dont know if it was mentioned, but the hest thing anyone can do for playing mmos is just drop the 70$ and get an mmo mouse with 12 buttons on the side.
Your life will be so much easier.
making a keybind video soon, will cover this (:
Hey love this and I liked and subscribed. I am a returning player and I'm so happy to see you have a pally tank. I was always a tank in the past. Do you have a video that shows your methods/ guide to tanking?
