شكراً للدرس!!
*2SSalaam 3leykum estaz, this tutorial is very helpful shukran.Just a question please:@ about **03:50**, does 'wil-la lis-sa' mean 'yet' , and how do we say 'still' in Levantine Arabic? Barakallahfiki wa Allah m3ek.*
@Ta Mabsuta Mar7aba, is it 'tikrim' ? (There are no diacritical marks so I don't know the correct pronunciation as yet) Shukran.
Ahlam m3limmeh, I constructed the following sentence from information at about 05:30 in the video; is the sentence correct please? فينك تحكي اللي بدك اياه، تمْسَحِت meaning, You can say whatever you want, I'm over it.
I have a question, why is waking up in fushah is يوقظ but in levantine is صحوة?
متعودا دايما
🙌🏽
At 4:18 what does the verb tes-hi mean? & what does the noun “sah-weh” mean?
the verb means (to wake up) in the present simple
and the noun means ( waking up)
Tauwad etehki larabia?..
Lissa ma mitauwed ehki Arabi. Bes bahawel.
شو الفرق بين: أنا متعوِّد احكي اللهجة السورية و أنا معود احكي اللهجة السورية ؟
look, they are the same, but (متعود = Mit'aw'wid) is in the Syrian dialect,
while (معوّد = Mm'aw'wad) is in the Palestinian dialect
note ( The Levant dialect is the dialect of the counties : Syria, Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon)
There are slight differences between them in terms of pronunciation, but they are very similar, and speakers of these dialects can easily understand each other.
The answer is : Mit’avvid ehkiy arabiy
أنا ماخد احكي بالعربي حتى لو مرّات حاسس مضغوط، بس هاد الاشي لازم يكون عادي😂
تعودت عالحكي بالعربي؟
SlickOnTop this is past tense , meaning i was used to speaking in arabic , if you mean right now you can say انا متعود عالحكي بالعربي
متعود عالحكي بالعربي
For تعودت it should be ‘have you got used to …’ rather than ‘did you get used to …’
انا لا متعودة على بحكة الغة العربية
أنا متعوِّد احكي اللهجة السورية
إنت متعود تحكي عربيه
متعود تحكي عربي :The answer
لاء مابتعود احكي العربي
Thanks for your answer. You could try to speak and listen to more Arabic to improve your language!
Among all the UA-cam channels of learning Arabic and learning especially Levantine Arabic, you’re one of the best. I just wanna ask you, please, continue your work and make videos like this. Your videos are well structured and presents exactly the expressions which people are using in the streets. Your UA-cam channel is very valuable so I just want you to know that I appreciate you and you have my support.
From Romania with love.
Mihai Tudor agree wholeheartedly! Will keep supporting :)
hear, hear =)
150% True
Question: how do you practise what you see here? Have you even found yourself using what you see here? If yes, how much were you successful in recalling the language and getting your message across without a struggle?
Thank you!
