Those wallets are beautiful, but far too bulky for modern needs. Card holders are much better especially for not bulking out pockets in jeans or jackets. Belts are fantastic, though.

It really is top quality stuff.. the natural veg tan leather can patina quite quickly.. will try out the “sun tan” approach I think!

That’s part of what drew me to the conclusion that I preferred a short wallet; stunning materials and construction though!
@@DevonReviewer The Tanuki wallet is nice to own as an artisan piece of crazy craftsmanship but it’s impractical for everyday use.
And I though my Carl Friedrik wallet was dear,nevertheless you can’t beat a good quality wallet and that one is beautiful

I used a card holder for years, I can’t argue.. but aesthetically there is something very nice about the heft of an old school wallet!
